Bamford doing an excellent job of making Boro look like utter mugs... meanwhile we have Britt and £300000 per goal record.
    How’s Watmore been doing?

Hes been pretty good a lot more direct in the middle of the pitch than our other players. Bit in and out the team the last month or so with our wingers and change up im not sure he will start now but iv been impressed with him.

Same, I think he has injected a bit of quality into the team.

Got to laugh at Brentford crying foul then calling off the rearranged game

We have been lucky enough to not have any postponements before this but the league surely has to have some sort of policy on covid positives - say if you get x amount you can postpone, rather than judging each case as it happens

What if Joao and Olise get positive tests 2 days before the re-arranged game? Why should we be happy to potentially be forced to play?

playing Brentford in the re-arranged game tonight, Meite and Swift both injured after Saturday whilst Brentford have 2 players back from injury I believe, should have said Meite and Swift have covid then we could have got a re-arrangement rather than missing a key game imo

Tisdale sacked, thank God he was worse than Garner.

Would love to go and get DC back from Walsall, can't see that happening though so will take Mansell for the remaining games and start again in League 2 with him, as I don't think whoever takes over keeps us up.

Duff or Flynn perhaps, but I can't see many managers wanting to leave a club to join us, but we shall see!

We are going to struggle to finish the season on time at this rate
Only 2 Tuesdays left spare and keep having away games postponed because of frozen pitches
So basically one corona outbreak from being ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Im happy with the progression from last season but needing a clean sheet most matches is unsustainable as our defence has become as bad as the attack the last few games without Fry.

We obviously have your old mate on our local news every other night now and I always chuckle thinking about how glad to see the back of him you were. Not gonna disagree with you but bloody hell they haven’t improved since he went have they lol.

Meanwhile the dirty Mackems (sorry Chris) will be back playing us next season with big LJ leading the March :D

It includes being completely outplayed by Birmingham at home in it as well. That was really the start of the decline a team we beat 4-1 away beating us easily in the rematch managed by Aitor one of the most negative managers in the league.

    Rotherham at home too

Have we played Jonathan Woodgates Bournemouth twice yet? Cos imagine the scenes if they do us.

It was absolutely the right thing to do to part ways with LJ. It was stale and he was out of ideas and had zero chance of progressing us behind what he had.

But to take six weeks to conduct a ‘thorough and rigorous process’ and then appoint his assistant, who was part of the problem, was lunacy. He’s a nice guy but he was set up to fail.

We still have Bournemouth away at some point a fixture iv hated for quite some time in itself.

Would the next line to this be, your defence is terrified?

Darrell Clarke has quit Walsall as he has a new job lined up.

    HE'S COMING HOME <3

Hasn't exactly set the world alight since leaving us, but I would love for him to come back even if we still go down (which is extremely likely with our squad imo) and have a good crack in League 2.

Yeah Sam Frost is always spot on with this stuff as well, just tried to lump on DC to Northampton before the betting sites caught on and they immediately restricted my account

I'll take Barton then, just don't want it to be James Rowberry, can't deal with another assistant to get us out of our mess.

I wanted to believe it, seemed to perfect not to be us :(

Although he is now favourite for us, Port Vale and second favourite for Northampton, all while not having even left Walsall yet technically

He's gonna be busy managing four clubs at once!

DC confirmed to Port Vale then, that was an hour and a half of contrasting emotions

I'm really not sure what to think of it all to honest.

He was pretty much the perfect appointment but he never quite got to the heights he wanted to with us. Having injures constantly to key players never helped him despite being just shy off the play offs in both seasons.

Most of our fans wanted him out in the past few weeks, but we were never going to sack him because we couldn't afford to, so for Vale to come in and pay money for him has probably done us a massive favour.

Not a big fan of his best mate and assistant staying with us until the end of the season though, would rather him gone too and us leave Mat Sadler in charge until we appoint someone else.

With us being only a few points off the play offs and with us having like 17 games or something in the next two months, it could go either way.
