Think we will finish around 7th this year in L2. Capable of finishing higher but our midfield is paper thin. Get a few injurys there and we will have a midfield made up of 17 year olds. Still in need of a striker with some pace and a right back.

Our team today is... interesting. Mitrovic on the bench and Tim Ream at the back.

I’ve Mitrovic in my fantasy so that’s why he’s on the the bench.

    That team looks tragic.

I'm happy Rodak's at least getting a chance over Areola, but would expect at least half the team today to change by the end of the window with Mitrovic, Areola, Aina/Tete, a Centre-Back and probably a Winger coming in. I'd have Zambo in for Cairney as well.

    Was surprised Zambo didn’t start.

I'm allergic to Tim Ream playing Premier League Football.

I wasn't overly surprised. Think Parker's trying to run things as a meritocracy, so it's basically on the players who got us up to keep their places- but as we've just seen with Ream... they probably won't last long.

Fulham getting relegated again unless they bring in a competent centre back.

Bet you're still kicking yourselves about letting Shaun Hutchinson go

Fulham are going to be that team that play great every week, beat 3 of the top 6 away from home and get relegated with 25 points aren’t they

Feel like that 1st Half could be the story of our season. Tactically we’ve been decent given we’re playing a very decent Arsenal team, but we’re losing because of just a lack of quality at a key moment.

Only things Hutchinson did for us was get sent off and give away Penalties, could’ve just been a victim of the fact the whole team was tragic while he was here though.

I’d take Ream over Hutchinson though, there’s no way Hutchinson would’ve been “in favour” under Jokanovic especially. Ream’s just not good enough for the Premier League.

Zambo for Cairney and Mitrovic for AK47 or Cavaleiro and we could still do something in this game though. Need Mitrovic's hold-up play and Anguissa's more powerful box-to-box running to get us up the pitch.

I was expecting worse when I saw the team.

Jesus, Ryan Leonard at RWB, Alex Pearce starting ahead of Murray Wallace and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson somehow starting ahead of big Matt Smith. This is going to be a tragic opening day.

No point panicking after 1 game against what seems to be a very good Arsenal team. Especially because as I've already said, half the team that started today probably won't be regulars this season.

Just have to move on quickly, fair to say we've got a kinder run of games coming up now compared to that opener.

Weimann in centre midfield again meaning we essentially have 3 strikers on the pitch as well as a 10 in Paterson.

Be interesting if he’s still there when Williams and Walsh are fit, it’s certainly not conservative!

    Kalas confirmed as new captain

No Ribeiro seems a little strange and no Bachirou in the 18 but then Blackett did well last week and Fig/Worrall is our main partnership.

How awful are the new Soccer Saturday lot? Not a shred of personality between them.

    Well that was absolutely awful.

Opening 20 seconds aside, we have been absolutely run ragged by a league one side.

I didn't mind them getting rid of the people they did, surprised Paul Merson survived to be honest. But that's personal preference of wanting to actually be informed about what's going on and getting some insight rather than laughing over mispronouncing names and not knowing the rules of the game half the time. Thought Le Tissier was the best of the ones they got rid of pundit wise, but think he'd have been sacked anyway after comparing wearing a Mask to Anne Frank.

They do need to find the right balance and panel with the ones they're bringing in though.

I really like Merson so I'm glad he stayed. Not too fussed about the ones they did get rid of but if this is what they're replacing them with long term then they need to give their heads a wobble.

They have indeed, making a ❤️❤️❤️❤️ of himself as expected. Glen Johnson, Tony Pulis, Clinton Morrison and Sue Smith too. Awful.
