We never sold season tickets and instead sell this flexi season ticket for £25 that basically reserves your seat for the following season and sticks you in the queue for tickets if we have some limited capacity games
One thing the club has done right imo, it’s a good system and we’ve sold 12,000 of them already so you can tell it works

Certainly one of the nicer home kits we've had in recent years

    That’s a decent kit that.

Signed Guerrero from Olympiakos, apparently a defensive forward. I’m sure wheeler will know what that means, but we’re gunna obviously win the league now

So it turns out that Bass was playing while injured on Saturday and Kenny still felt the need to drag him in public over his performance

I just don’t understand why you would pretend that a player you subbed off at HT isn’t injured like he tried to at first :joy: what good comes from that :joy:

More decent enough players joining Irish league Michael O'Connor, Ben Kennedy and Dale Gorman all N.I lads. Hopefully see more over from league 1/2.

    Kennedy and Gorman from Stevenage?

Maybe JK our legend thinks that some big club will come for Bass in next few days so it better to be quiet about his injury. Who know what is in his head

FINALLY had a communication from the club about season tickets, only about 6 months after I paid in full for my 20/21 season ticket.

Pro rata refunds (1/23) on a game by game basis for any game played behind closed doors. Fair enough policy, but if this current arrangement lasted the whole season they'll have been sat on my money for the best part of 18 months by the time the season ends.

And they wonder why fans are feeling alienated from their clubs in modern times...I'm lucky that I don't need the money back but imagine people on lower incomes could be struggling.

The option of a full refund - considering clubs can't provide what you've paid for, with a week until the season commences - should have always been on the table for those who need it.

We've completely binned off Season Tickets for next season without them even going on sale. Suppose not knowing what division we'd be in has helped us out in that sense. Sounds like it's just going to be a Ballot, hope they give some sort of priority to 19/20 ST Holders but who knows. We're probably going to be charging 50 quid+ for the "worst" games knowing us, so let's wait and see.

We never miss a trick to milk our fans for all its worth, the deadline for renewals at early bird prices was before lockdown, before long they'll be setting it before Christmas!

Something that really winds me up tbh. I've paid for a seat for the whole season, as an absolute minimum I should have until the season is completely finished to then have the opportunity to renew it at the best price available.

To impose a deadline of 2-3 months before the season is scheduled to end is a joke.

I'm sorry in advance @ Bristol City fans. Also, is your transfer policy to just sign players who have played for us at some point?

Not really sure what to make of it to be honest. On paper doesn’t seem a bad player at all but gather he’s not overly popular there.

Tbh I think we’re going for a ‘whole greater than the sum of the parts’ approach - it worked for us in 07/08 when we were one game away from the Prem and punched well above our weight.

Three experienced additions in Martin, Williams and Mawson. We’ve had worse windows.

Nathan ‘made of glass’ Baker has just been ruled out for a considerable spell and were clearly playing with 3 CBs this year judging by pre season, so imagine it’s accelerated our desire to get anyone through the door

Mawson literally got injured putting his boots on for us... Convinced his Knees don't actually exist at this point. Genuinely if I could go back to 2018 and veto one of the signings we made I'd genuinely do Mawson, he's made of glass and he was awful most of the time when he did play. It's not a coincidence that as soon as we got Hector in we were miles better.

There probably is still an alright player in there, because you don't get an England call-up for no reason. But his move to us has been cursed.

This ref in the N.I match Jesus Christ I want to get on a flight to Romania just to have a word with him. And stick his whistle up his ****

Since I typed he's blew his whistle 15 times.

Neither team is scoring from a set piece the ref blows the whistle before its took. Social distancing apparently.

He just went 2mins without blowing I cant believe it.

    Goallllllllllllll Whyteeeeeeee.
Peacock farrell turned into prime Jennings.

Im still hearing a whistle and the match has been over for nearly an hour.

I haven't received my season ticket yet @BristolMDF, been told the end of the month.

I'm not even sure that I'm in my usual seat that I've paid for either due to distancing :D

The refunds from last seasons were weird for us aswell.

My brother took his refund as he never renewed for this season, he was offered either 20% off a shirt (£9), tickets to pre season games (there were none) or a full refund of £59 :joy:

You don’t come on here for a while and then there’s 1400+ posts on this page. I’m guessing some food debates? Villa doing a Fulham whilst Fulham do a Villa? Hicksy moaning about Jackett? Am I close?

Anyway, been a quiet window for far, priority was a keeper and we got that. Seem to be going for young with a lot of potential this window.

Missed out on Cash but not overall bothered, 14m was a lot for someone who would be back up initially. Now linked with Bogle and Lowe from Derby for a combined fee of 10m, much better deal for us given they would start of as cover.

Then wilder wants two attackers and a Cb cover. Apparently we are getting Burke for Robinson, Robinson isn’t good enough but from the sounds of it neither is Burke. Burke obviously a lot of potential so hope Wilder can get the best of him.

    Ah memories.

Weirdly I’m actually quite happy on reflection that we’ve gone the way we have now my initial anger has subsided....

The two coaches from the England youth setup will hopefully work in our favour, and everyone I’ve heard interviewed, players etc, can’t say enough positive things about Holden.

It’ll be interesting to see how different the football is to LJ to see how much influence Holden was able to have under the old regime. All the noises have suggested that he had very little influence over anything when LJ was at the helm.

I feel like that was undeserved.

We didn't create much, but on the whole and supposing they are a Championship team, I thought Wednesday were very average.

I suppose it'll mean more starting from next week anyway, good signs.
