Anyone been playing Forza Horizon 4?? what a game, i played a lot of 2 but decided to DL this for something better to play than FIfa (to be fair i could downloaded pretty much any game for that) and its awesome, the opening race sequence alone is stunning. Shows off our beautiful little Island in all its glory. Racing in the rain is epic too, sliding for dayyyys.
Just did my first barn find and got an RS2000 Escort, unreal, like being a boy racer again.
The way me and my mates are creating our own fun on FIFA is by doing Clubs drinking games.
Goalscorer picks someone to do 3 fingers, yellow card is 3 fingers etc...
We've even made our own version of bowls, where we shhhh the other team right up to one of their players, the person who executes their finishing celebration furthest away from the player we are shhhing has to do 5 fingers.
It's not perfect but it definitely helps making our own fun in quarantine.
As for Forza no I'm sorry chief, I'm strictly Clubs, COD, RL and Fortnite myself x

Haha that sounds like fun.. ive never played clubs as none of my mates are into Fifa, mainly all playing RPG's etc.
I will no doubt get bored of Forza eventually but i must admit Horizon is so much better than the standard game, they have taken loads of elements of Burnout Paradise and made it less serious of a racing game.
If the season gets cancelled, which player are you expecting to lose who you are going to miss?
Ours has to be young Ronan, to play in a defensive team that is devoid of quality in midfield, get so easily to double figures while also being one of the best creators in the league. Kid had a wobble I think but seems to have his head screwed back on now will probably be off to the championship without us

Think our one is fairly obvious... Maxime Le Marchand.
I am interested to see how the overall market reacts to this whole situation though. We'd be asking for 35+ for Mitrovic, and that might be a lot more than it was a couple of months ago to Prem teams with the loss of revenue (especially if the TV money situation happens).
Being serious for a second, our squad will be decimated in the summer.. most of whom i wont be sorry to see leaving but i fear for the rebuild project and if we will survive in the Champ next season. The last of the hangers on from Mowbray/Karanka (yes its true there are still players from back then hanging on) era are all on their way.. but can the 'home town boy' 'one of our own' actually step up.
On a positive note though theres some big wages gone im looking at gestede there. If it gets cancelled it would be a shame howson but even more so ayala might never play for us again.
I was looking at what our "summer" window would be like if we didn't go up the other day. Not much else to do. From what I know, Knockaert's option to buy triggers if he still has both legs attached and then Arter, Kongolo and Reed would be going back.
Think the ones likely to be sold would be Bettinelli, Bryan and Mitrovic, and that should get us ~40-45m. And then we've got some of the people out on loan as well like Seri and Zambo who'll be sold (or should) this summer as well.
So between that and the last year of parachute payments financially we'll be in really good shape, with a pretty good squad as well.
My personal hope is that we look at the sort of 21-25 age bracket for signings this summer, because we tried going for the "proven" Championship players this season and while you can't say it's a failure because we're 3rd and can still get automatics- I wouldn't say it's been a roaring success either.
Because next season (whenever it is) would be a complete all or nothing season for us with it being the last year of parachute payments. So my hope is we sign players in that age bracket that we can buy, improve and sell on at a profit so we're still in decent shape financially even with no parachute payments in the event that we don't get promoted. Because the average age of our squad at the moment is probably 28-29, and that mixed in with the vast majority being on big wages is not a good mix for the Championship.

Tbh I’m pretty much resigned to those 2 leaving now mate.

One of the interesting points someone made on a Podcast I was listening to is that all Football clubs can do at the moment is scouting and player recruitment type stuff. So wouldn't surprise me if we saw a lot of teams making supposed "bargain" signings of people we've never heard of given they will have looked in depth at them for ages over this period.
Although the other side is we have no idea how the transfer window will work at the moment, and even when it'll be.

I still have hope Ayala will stay but i wouldnt blame him slightly for leaving hes one of the best cbs in the division when fit.
I’m also interested that Gosport managed to concede 142 goals and finish with -101 goal difference
And somehow still pick up points in more than 20% of their matches (and basically the same for Dunstable)
I've officially taken the plunge and downloaded Football Manager. Will report back when I've won the Champions League with Kettering.
Im completely obsessed with Forza Horizon 4 atm.. Id forgotten what a good, well made game felt like, i even won a Ferrari Enzo on the wheel spins after a race, could you imagine EA ever giving the equivalent away in FUT?

What are you talking about, they gave me a free Joe Allen just for playing 100 Squad Battles on Legendary.

I haven't played an open world driving game genuinely in about 14-15 years since I got a PSP and one of the games that came with it was Test Drive Unlimited.
My thing with EA is, why would they change anything when they can put up a Lightning Round and earn 500k in 2 minutes? It's why I decided to "practice what I preach" and not put any money into packs this year. The only hope we've got of them genuinely trying to improve the game now is if more countries start banning FIFA Points, or classifying FIFA as an 18 for gambling.

Sod playing drinking games with your lot, we don’t all have 9 fingers on each hand.
Haha dont worry about that mate, these young kids could have 25 fingers and would still bottle it and go home early

I hope we keep Kilgour and Jaakola, the rest of the team is expendable, won't miss any of them particularly if they left.

Dickie for me - definitely capable of playing above this level. Brannagan honourable mention

''...6 years of parachute payments'' Why 6 years?
relegated from prem in 2007/08 (the timeframe it is talking about is starting 2008/09) and 2012/13
Imagine finishing the season 96 points behind the leader in a league system thats meant to pit similarly skilled teams against each other.

This is the cumulative one. 4 differences to what mine would've been. Samba for Rodak, Bryan for Ayling, Pinnock for Ajayi and Eze for Sawyers.
