Do the new Icons for Fifa 18 mean the end of Legends for Xbox?

Okay so as most of you are aware the new rebranding of Legends on Xbox is no longer exclusive for Xbox players only! Now they will be known as Icons and will be available to Playstation players aswell as Xbox.
However...
Does this now mean that some of the current Legends. For example Allessandro Nesta, Michael Owen, Roy Keane. Ect. Will no longer be available? I understand that there are some new Icons and some others will be making a re-appearance but does anyone know if allof the previous legends will become Icons? Or will EA start a fresh with the new Icons replacing the Legends?

Since they announced Pele again, I am pretty sure they are starting fresh. Which is a good thing

Yeah I agree it's good to start a fresh, i've seen a Gerrard Icon which will be one of my favourites and also feel the term Icon is more appropriate than Legend for some players. I will be gutted if some of the Italian players don't make an appearance again. Nesta, del Piero, Cannavaro & Gattuso were all awesome back in their peak! But I won't miss the pointless Gary Neville

I wouldn't be to upset either. But I would like ADP to stay at least And I like to have players like Kluivert, Best etc and them big names in the game but if I could choose one it would be ADP

Really hope they revamp all the current legends ratings if they become Icon's on FIFA 18, they are supposed to represent the players in their prime and half of them have poor stats and are outclassed by current players who have like 1 IF! They were amongst the best players in the world so they should be the best cards in the game!

I think a lot of the Legends on Xbox were great! I'm not against a rebranding or new players added but it would be a shame to see some of the old Legends go

The whole point in this thread is to open a discussion on what people's understanding are of the new concept and how they feel about it. Not just to wait & see. If you aren't interested in these threads why do you comment on them? Seems a bit contradictory in my opinoin
