Actually had a good game in the WL
Just played a guy. And enjoyed the game. I lost 4-2, but the game was lag free, didnt involve ❤️❤️❤️❤️ play, no time wasting, no shushing, no replay watching, just an actual enjoyable game with a decnet human being. Sent him a gg message and he even replied in a civilised manner.

I had one of these games in divisions last week... was such a great game, brilliant chances at both ends, game play was lag free, nothing untoward going on in game.. like you messaged the guy and he had already beat me too it. Discussed how much we both enjoyed it and wished all games were like that.

Finding if i don't concede in the first 30 minutes I'm generally okay, but as soon as they do score and go more defensive can't utilise that pace and my bronze players become completely useless

Best of the bunch had to be tonking a guy with Blanc, Veron, Petit and Van Basten 3-0 with two goals from Billy Sharp then a swift Devante Cole break away.

Couldn't recommend it enough mate, is the most fun I've had with Fifa in months.
It's actually put a lot of things in to perspective for me.. have been in such a slump with the game of late, getting angrier and more frustrated with it, putting pressure on myself to do better and meet unrealistic targets but you know what... if I'm good enough to beat people in the Weekend League with a bronze team then I really have very little to complain about.
I'm never going to be Top 100 or anything like that, am happy holding Div 1 with the occasional title, so just need to relax and enjoy the game a bit. Play so much better when I can allow myself to do that.
I've beaten Grannec this year ffs (admittedly on pens after a 2-2 draw in which he absolutely battered me
It's going to be easier said than done, not letting losses effect me, when I go back to using a stronger side but for now am enjoying the ride and benefitting greatly from it.
Nice. Defo guna try this. I'm div 1 but never won it. Only ever hold. But wud like to give the old bronze team a try just to see how far I can go with it. Have a couple of red bronze IF too wud be good to use them.

Will be interesting to see how the results compare with the bronze side. Though my Reading team is all silver, with Illori being gold at CB thrown in for good measure, their physical stats do not quite match up. The League One side has a lot more pace, especially at full back, LW and ST as well as more favourable workrates at CM.
Could so with Jem Karacan back but you lads have him atm. He'll run around all day long (not checked him out but I imagine his H/H)! Shocks me that Danny Williams is only a M/M for us really. He tears around the place most games!

Games are starting to get a bit tougher though. Had a run of three straight wins earlier but then lost four on the bounce and decided to call it quits for the night. All four of the beatings were pretty comprehensive, really good players i just couldnt live with. But on the bright side I did troll some poor lad by slotting a pen past Neuer to make it 3-1 in my favor in the 90th.. you know, just because. Figure it's payback for all the dabs I've had to endure
Still an outside chance at reaching gold tomorrow which in all honesty I'll be delighted with - after all since dropping Matty Taylor for Kyel Reid my squad rating dropped to 65, and that's with more silvers on the bench than in my starting 11. Haha.

Superb. Yes its best to break off when u feel u r in a rut. I have always found i just play worse when im in a mood after losing. Think i can break my way out of it and it never happens. I have only played 8 this weekend, and highly doubt i will play more tomoz. Gotta watch the wanderers get promotion tomorrow.
