Another 'leave match' glitch?

I was just 3-0 up in FUT Seasons and my opponent paused it and rage quit, I was expecting the 'connection has been lost' prompt but I was hit with 'you have lost connection to the EA sports servers' - returning me to the main menu and giving me the loss...I haven't had this happen to me in ages so I'm a bit miffed. Anyone else had this bs?

I dont know but ive lost the final in FUT champions qualifying 3 times all while winning due to disconnection.

There's still people quitting on me when I get 1-0 or 2-0 up and I don't get the win (and points if its on seasons)....100% an exploit, my connection is solid fibre optic so its not me causing an issue

I've only ever had this issue in seasons too, my internet is well above average too, without a doubt an EA based issue.

Are you on PS4 by any chance? I know us on PlayStation have had issues with people logging out of their accounts mid-game, I thought it was resolved a while back. Hopefully doesn't work during FUT Champs this weekend

Was 3 - 1 up against a stacked team with Messi Neymar and Bale, he pauses, next thing "you have lost your connection to EA servers", was using a 30k BPL team at the time. Sent him a nice msg saying "GG "
Really don't give a ❤️❤️❤️❤️ whether I got the win/loss, main thing is he knows who won haha

Damn so it's definitely looking like it's another dashboard glitch or something similar. Ha yeah exactly mate, he knows the score! Just a bit annoying if it happens in Champs tho

Did you use the PS button before the disconnect?
There was a glitch where they could disconnect you if you did.

Restart Fifa and never use the PS button solved it before.

Happened to me on Xbox the other day in wl qualifiers final, not played the game since. It's pointless if you are going to get d/c'd everytime you are winning.

Yeah I more and likely did, I'll try not to the next time I'm on. Laughable that this is even a problem

Yeah I'm not sure what the cause is.
But before, not using the PS button at all after starting Fifa used to at least prevent people from disconnecting you.

Just had it happen to me in the WL and I hadn't pushed the PS button prior to that.

I scored a goal and then got the LAN wire disconnected message as well as the Disconnected from the EA servers message as my opponent was kicking off. I got the DNF message when I signed back into ultimate team.

I got disconnected in a WL match after pausing the game out of necessity, it was early in the game and the score was 0-0 but missed easy sitters and I was basically dominating the game. It was running fine before the DC. Seems a bit shady to say the least, of course it could be also just my connection.

i get this all the time( people pull the dash board glitch)
