He is not even that good for me and against but why all the hype?
He's not that good for me either but you see him so often. He will let in some goals but then do crap like this and that's all you remember. It's extremely annoying to have something that's a goal quite often get saved by the same guy. Sometimes you don't get but a few opportunities and he gets to those and it costs you a game, other times he costs you.
He's ridiculous at times I guess, he's nothing compared to the hell that was Sebastian Frey in FUT13.
Pfffff that is one crazy save and a beautiful free kick. I'm doubting wether it's because I face him so much that he just seems crazy good or that he actually is the best GK in the game.
He's the best keeper, literally no need for anyone else besides chem reasons.

to be fair, in the other thread I was telling people DDG is the best keeper.. hes so much better from long shots. Then this last night.. won the game comfortably but..
But Butland takes the cake, then takes the plate too, and probably chucks it at your face after pulling off a save that defies physics just to rub it in!
I had the usual game vs Butland last night, ended up drawing 1-1 after I had 16 shots on target to his 2. Got a message afterwards saying "you'll never beat Butland, he rules you're so s**t". (even though I'd scored past him). I replied asking him why he seemed to be so happy that the AI had rescued his 87 rated team a lucky point against my 82 but oddly enough he never got back to me.
Also battered a top Bundesliga team with Neuer pulling off some astounding saves and I lost 6-1 after he scored 4 identical long shots against my Courtois. He had the decency to message afterwards to say he didn't know how I hadn't scored more and he didn't deserve that scoreline - so I think it's generally just Butland users who are the ❤️❤️❤️❤️ of this game. Well, either that or the ❤️❤️❤️❤️ all use Butland

Yeah, he hits some stupid speed boost. I'm on a free kick run after some practice and this hurt. I ended up winning anyhow.

Never seems to make a mistake, whereas Butland is dodgy with longshots at times.
