Anyone had any WL succes with this formation recently? What defensive tactics do you use?

I've literally never seen that formation once in hundreds of WL matches. There are a lot of 433(4)'s in WL and if they are skilled wing players it could really damage you.

    Main things are

    1. Custom tactics

    Build up speed 70
    Pressure 30
    Agression 55
Shooting no more than 40 this stat can throw your cdms further up in attack to get in scoring positions
    Cover
Do not control your CB's as much as you can use your cdms or lm or rm

All other stats 50 is fine you can tweak if u wish

    2. Work rates

    CB's medium/ high or medium/medium try stay away from high/medium CB's

Cdm medium/high high/high or high/medium - i have at least 1 of the cdm with a high defensive workrate

LM and RM high/high for one of them and high/medium is ok for the other

CAM high/med or med/med is ok i prefer high attack

    Strikers anything is ok

    3. Player instructions

Ensure you have LM and RM come back on defence
    CDM's stay back while attacking
CAM i put on free roam
Strikers get in behind and stay central

Takes time to master but if your patient enough you will basically have 5 at the back in defence and an extra attacking player going forward

@cooz41289 played 8 games so far, won 5. It feels very good for most of the match, but don't know why there are periods during the match when it feels like I don't have any midfield - they don't help enough in attack nor defence.
Also conceded quite a few dangerous through balls between my CBs, even though I have team width on 1 it still feels like the gaps are too big sometimes. Any advice about that?

I use organised for both otherwise you find players out of position too much.. you can always put your passing to 70ish on chance creation for a bit riskier runs in the final 3rd

I play on about 25 width actually sorry left that out..

I use my cdms to.fill all those gaps if any maybe start with pressure on 25 or something low so teams cant beat you behind the line

I have also had some luck with cdms on aggressive interceptions
