Will price ranges kill the endgame?

Given that many price ranges still don't represent true player values, what hope is there once the market thins out and less people are playing the game?

Obviously this won't concern anyone who moves to 16 or whatever, but surely if price ranges remain implemented, you'll have no chance of finding those obscure older IFs and TOTS/MOTM/Hero cards etc.

EA are notorious for turning their back as soon as the next release drops, so it's inevitable that isnt going to be worth playing at all.

It's the only possible solution without a doubt. But then you'd have hyper inflation to deal with but again, I'd happily work with it and be able to trade freely on an open market. It would make players more accessible than they are now imo.

Genuinely wouldn't surprise me if spamming searches for the market is marketed as a brand new feature brought in for FUT 16... at least make a mini game out of it or something.

I'd love to be able to sell my dupes, 2 days of listing and its borderline impossible. 50k's and 100k's to come and its not going to get any better.

This aspect of the game is completely ruined.

that's only because everyone is sitting on coins
with fresh start on 16 price ranges will be brilliant

    sitting on coins??
m8...you would pay Henderson 280 k ? his real value wouldnt go further 80 k in a normal market
    want to talk about Gonalons?
or want to talk about that stupid tots dybala value?
bet more than 1 would pay over 1 mil coins for him...

Ranges killed the game, and EA forced us to play in a ❤️❤️❤️❤️ way on the market spamming it for hours ...
Nobody is sitting on the coins anymore, the game ending, the point is that nobody is stupid too to pay a Marchisio much more than 400 k...

that's because they don't know how much players would pay for cards now when market is flooded with coins
without ranges people had no refference so cheaters with hughe ammount of coins could pay stupid ammount of coins for silver player as you mentioned
so yo usay dybala should cost 500 k or something ? because that's more ❤️❤️❤️❤️ for me than TOTS prices
with fresh start and hopefully no coin farming prices will be adjusted so most of people will be able to afford great players
if the game is dead why are you here ?

    finishing it...after almost 10 years.
who got coins...got coins m8...ranges or not ranges, coinselling or not.
and dont think that everybody is stupid if they would like to pay 500 k + more for a silver...ppls are differents and give different values to the things...
thx to your "lovely" ranges...see what happening to the cards with wrong values...pfixed forever...

and all the tots experience is so slow now...after a couple of days of general pack opening, everybody staying with its own cards...cant sell...cant buy due the stupid ranges...
i dont like this, and cant accept it for the next year...ending this anyway, just few weeks :)

Would never happen mate. It would basically encourage coin buying/selling.

The only thing they need to do is FLOOD the market so extinct cards don't become extinct. Simple as that. And lower the ranges more frequently so people can sell their cards.

good point...in the free market pricefixers were hated alot...but if u wouldnt buy their cards...cards would come back to normale...with ranges they are fixed forever

Honestly speaking, a fair solution to TOTS would be:

When a new week of TOTS cards is released, only them DON'T have price ranges for the week so they can fluctuate normally. When the next week's TOTS cards are released, they add ranges to the old batch if cards that didnt have a range. They would make their proce according to the supply/demand in the market and hiw much they are selling for. After their week is done they could continue adjusting them as they wish.

Keep in mind, this is only for the current week's TOTS cards not the whole players.

That way EA know how much is their real value.

this will count for one week, on the free market prices were moving all the time, sometimes on a daily basis...ea cant predict those prices (demand) correctly...which also means nobody on their team in canada is a hardcore futplayer..which is really sad.

    Wouldn't work.

You would end up with every Wednesday, all informs being extinct because even the cheapest inform would be snapped up to transfer coins. But a discard inform then sell for 2 million to a coin seller.

That's a myth without any evidence to back it up, you have players out there with huge room in their price ranges already.

    this been discussed forever.
There will be always space for cheating if EA let it.
Its EA fault and we paying for their laziness.

example...what would be the problem not allowing people to buy 1 more card for version released?
this could stop extinct problems...but again they are too lazy to do it.
The only problem that have in mind is how to make people opening more and more packs, and they dont care if we cant sell the items that get out of packs.
they dont care if we cant buy the items that get out of packs.

    Just buy packs.
    This policy is killing them.
And the thing is really sad cauz the game addiction they discovered was really cool.

there will be always space for cheating even if they wouldn't let it as you see they're trying to minimise it but people will always want to break the law for profit - blaming them for being "robb-able" is stupid
