I don't agree with this though either. I've play 9,000 games over the last three years and I have basically never seen people in D1, the supposedly "most competitive" mode to this date, waste time from the 20th minute and shield the ball in the corner for 20 minutes of my life.
Same thing happened to me guy, scored and then passed it round the back from 60 minutes. I sold my squad and can't see myself going back anytime soon tbh.

Honestly all it shows when people do this is that they are terrible at defending and not comfortable defending themselves. I'd rather lose a game because I missed a manual tackle than sit there on PTB letting the AI do every single thing.
The problem with this FIFA for ME is how op, the op players are. And the fact that he is 16k and is available to pretty much everybody is ridiculous. Same goes for Musa. One of the best strikers in the game for like 1k. I know we have always had op players but I think there's too many of them this year and they are better than ever. With WL people want to use the best players to win and sadly the best players for most people are butland, Smalling, walker, Kante, martial, musa and can be put in a team for under 100k.

Two VERY different things. If you're so good, you would have found a way to win against those teams instead of turning your tail and running, ruining their chances. I don't use attribute cards but they're in the game. Same with PTB. It shouldn't be as effective as it is, but that's fifa 17 for ya. All you "elite" players who cherry pick etc are laughable. Real cringe to see someone call themselves elite and then disconnect people and trying to justify it lol.

As I've said, for me, they are much better than ever. Ramires is a brilliant example as he's so similar to Kante. Ramires was everywhere yes, but for me he wasn't anywhere near as good as Kante. I just played a game where Kante scored a hat trick against me, finishing 2 like a TOP striker and the other one a 30 yarder into the top corner. Ramires didn't do that when I used to play against him. Also as I said, I haven't seen so many decent players using the "op" players this far into FIFA.
Maybe my issue isn't how good they are but how little difference there is between them and the top players.

I agree. I had a WL game yesterday where the guy won 1-0 from a longshot about 35 to 40 yds out from NIF Kante. Just because he was in that perfect position for cross body long shots.

I strongly doubt you could get 50 viewers tbh. Maybe 50 total for like a 3-5 hour session but not a chance for concurrent viewers. But don't let me get in your way. Go for it dude. Prove me wrong. Prove to me you are the one human in the world who doesn't bat an eye when a game is snatched from you in the 90th and you are being watched by 500 people. (500 in my case 10-15 in your case)

I simply don't have the time and the urge to stream. I'm not even able to finish 40 games each weekend. I have a stressful job so fut champs is a way to relax for me. And I couldn't never make the money I'm making now with streaming.
It will be huge changes in the future on what type of players that still play fifa.
The casual players will most likely stop playing online and only the people who are decent, or don't care, or are douchebags who abuse all flaws at all cost will continue.
I personally will not buy any future fifas. I only play now because i got a free copy, but the dbags along with all the things that are wrong ruin the game. Almost no enjoyment left.

For Weekend League they need to remove est date (it's a nightmare trying to find a game at times) and make it like Draft where you can't change formation in game
EA need to get rid of the user start date before matches and replace it for 'most common tactic used' It would literally say 'Park the Bus' under some players names and I could actively avoid them.

Iv never even played WL but agree with every word. It's been like this for years but the introduction of this gives people an incentive to play like c*nts.
Still doesn't make me change my game play as I play for fun. But saying that Iv only played 1 game in a month and only turned my Xbox on twice in just as long. And that was only.because my gf challenged me to try play while getting a happy ending

So why do you deem it necessary to bait me in an attempt to bring me down when you can just leave the stream? I am not forcing you to watch me. I wasn't the one who called you out originally about dc ing those guys either you were bragging about it. I am sure that was a very relaxing moment, a true zen moment that helps you forget about all that work stress, when you just knew you wanted to ruin someone's day by just wasting their 20 minutes.

The problem you have now like I stated last week is that the more people who get driven away by these awful tactics people use, the horrific state of the servers we have to play on and the broken state of a game (which is now into its 5 month and as of yet still no major fix or update) the harder is gonna become for the ones who remain. It's getting to get to the point soon were the only people who play WL will be the pros or the people who will resort at every dirty filthy trick in the book to change it being a football based game into a non existent mode which has never been seen on a football pitch in any corner of the world.
I had the same issue as you Pug the other week were the guy was shielding the ball in the corners and sidelines from the 45 th minute till the end of the game. He tried playing round his defence but after catching him out a few times he gave that up. They aren't real FIFA players as they were in other FIFAs, were you would go hell for leather at each other for a 6-5 win and actually enjoy the 90 minutes you had just played. These players now are bottom feeding scum who will stop at nothing to get themselves a slightly better pack in there quest of moving up there gold 3-1 ladder they usually achieve. EA have to sort this mode out making it just basic available tactics that can only be used by each player. Let the skill of the player be the deciding factor not the skill of the AI or the fact you can custom your tactics to PTB then drag every player into defence while the game is paused and pass it around the back for 70 minutes. It should be your team against there's, no tactics, no cheating, just a match of who is the better skilled based FIFA player with the result being decided on that factor.
I can guarantee you now that the amount of people playing the WL has dropped drastically and that it will soon be a case of where you will be only matching up against the usuall faces who appear in the top 100 or thereabouts. The matchmaking will be that flawed that it will take an eternity to get a game as so few people will be playing and that you may get a guy who finishes top 10 matching against a guy who gets silver 3 as there will be a lack of opponents. I started seeing this last week and noticed too how long it was taking to get a game, in some instances you could take up to 10 minutes to get an opponent who wouldn't back out or who you had matched against on 4 previous occasions.
WL is a great addition to the game as are SBCs but as in the case of the latter it has soon dried up input and idea wise. It has killed the game for me personally, never have I gave up on FIFA mid January and never have a disliked a FIFA as I have done this one in the last few months I played it.

Yup the cat is out of the bag now and I'm not sure what they can do. They leave it and they alienate people like you and I or they stop WL and risk alienating the ultra try hard sect.
If they keep it or they stop it it honestly doesn't matter without creating a game that doesn't play like an Alpha. Eventually that will kill the interest enough with or without FUT Champs even if they have squashed all competitors.

I find that when I play people who have them on, the games are relatively easier cause the player sucks so they're relying on attribute cards lol

Mid week FIFA is dead, no tourneys, lack of opposition Div 1 due to everyone being burnt out WL, I bet majority of people who play WL don't even touch the game midweek, EA has killed the game and they only have themselves to blame.
Yup the cat is out of the bag now and I'm not sure what they can do. They leave it and they alienate people like you and I or they stop WL and risk alienating the ultra try hard sect.
If they keep it or they stop it it honestly doesn't matter without creating a game that doesn't play like an Alpha. Eventually that will kill the interest enough with or without FUT Champs even if they have squashed all competitors.
