PTB, counter, instant formation swap, 0 pressure, dabbing, red card challenges going unpunished, AI defending, team mates blocking goal bound shots, ref obstructing players at bad times, OP shielding, OP as fack LT+RT dribbling (looks stupid), berba turns, est. date, green kits, Musa, Remy, Smalling, Butland, Kante etc etc etc
That is a list of things that I am fed up of seeing in the weekend league.
Unfortunately, we have got to the point where these are now being used in seasons and EVEN ONLINE SINGLE MATCHES.
And I wonder why I've had 2 communication bans already.
I was going really well in the WL this time and thorougly enjoyed my matches, even getting compliments and exchanging GG's with my opponents. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to last and I'm back to my average WL wins. The first part shows me that the WL has great potential and even good sportsmanship. What I noticed is that most of the players with good to great teams (IF's, Legends) play Fifa with an attacking mindset and are very friendly even if they lose.
Most of the things I want to see changed are gameplay things though. At the moment I think it's too easy for players to use pace to get through defences. I like the WL for giving rewards and if you're good at the game you can play it without putting a single dime in and still get a good team. The only thing I would like to see changed with rewards are the monthly ones so there's a difference if you get Gold 3, 2, 1, etc.
When the game is good it's really, really good, but when it's bad it's really, really bad.
I think whatever game play you encounter in the weekend league it really shouldn't matter should it ?

I would love to see the teams these people are rocking that are complaining about the WL.
Am I jealous? Yes. I would love to have Ronaldo, Messi, Veira, Best in my team, but I bet most of you on this thread complaining don't realise how lucky your are to have the top players and to be able to play with some of the top players.
This game is the best FUT ever for me, FUT Champions and SBC are the best things they have ever done. In terms of gameplay it's also the best for me even with some of the bad stuff in it, with some tweaks it's undoubtedly the best gameplay ever....people are forgetting how bad past FIFAs actually were.
Anyways I don't really mind the PTB, low pressure, counter attack etc because it's a competitive game mode and you can still overcome those things if you're good enough and adapt. The stuff that shouldn't be in the game at all is the delay, auto passing, established date on the screen etc, we have no control over that and can't do anything against it versus something like PTB/counter.
I respect you tons. I have two questions for you though.
How much money have you spent this year?
If FUT Champs is in the game next year will you spend more or less than the answer to the first question?

Anyways I spent $100 during the first weeks without FUT Champs so I could grind out draft.
With FUT Champs I'll spend almost nothing since you can just build you're club up from there with the rewards.

EA need to get rid of the user start date before matches and replace it for 'most common tactic used' It would literally say 'Park the Bus' under some players names and I could actively avoid them.
More seriously, Im not sure what EA can do at this point, but PTB needs to be less effective then it currently is.
My Kante plays better passes than toty Kroos. This Game is so broken.

For some reason EA refuses to make the important stats matter. All you need is pace and physical in FIFA, Vision, ball control, short pass, long pass....all of this are just there to fill blank spots in attributes. In no way Renato Sanches should be the better midfielder than Iniesta or Kroos. But he has pace+physicval of which both of the other lack so he is the better one.
I agree Pugz. It's what you said on stream the other night too, once I stopped giving a ❤️❤️❤️❤️ about the game I started to enjoy it more. But that still doesn't mean I'm not gonna get frustrated over the stupid stuff that happens out of my control. I let my neighbor play a few games of my fut champs yesterday and when I went to his house and watched him play seasons, the difference was insane. Right away I could tell the difference in how smooth it was compared to fut champs. All of the people who aren't complaining and who are consistently getting 30+ wins, congrats for MANAGING those wins and MANAGING to enjoy the game. For the average player who dont have the tools/reactions the elite player does, this is the most anti fun, anti football, football game I've ever seen and had the misfortune of playing. I've never played a game that rewards someone for not actually playing the game.
e.a are rewarding a small percentage of the player base heavily for being good at the game...there isn't any arguments to make about what goes on in that elite section

I encourage everyone in this thread to look at Inceptions video where he talks to Nepenthez about how ❤️❤️❤️❤️ the gameplay is. Very interesting conversation and I agree with Inception about pretty much everything they talk about.

Game has been the best in a long time. New additions and gameplay.
Obviously still things that happen which are BS, lag plays a big part in the game imo. Think they need to up the latency bars to maybe 5 or something.
Huge difference in fluidity from offline and online which shouldn't happen unless you have bad internet. No reason to lag on Fifa when you lag on 0 other games.
Maybe its the end of fut champions for you but i dare say its been massive success for EA.
Yes its very competitive with some taking their tactics a bit too far but as much as it pisses me off sometimes, its what fifa has needed for a long time. Something to play for where you get rewarded.
When you dangle the carrot people will play with what they need to win. I for one dont buy into this PTB stuff if im honest, ive seen a handful of people play it, maybe im lucky but the amount of people who complain about this week in week out i must say im a tad sceptical as to whether you're being truthful or just looking for an excuse. End of the day as someone said, you arent forced to play WL. Play seasons, single match friendlies whatever you fancy but to say this is the end of FIfa? Give over lol. This weekend alone with the amount of packs opened should tell you the answer.
I've at times wanted to stop playing WL but it draws me in every weekend, that hope of a decent reward at the end of the week/month. I cant help but role the dice lol.
I watched a 125k lightning round fall short of a sell out. I've never seen a lightning round not sell out.
Didnt the 100k packs take over 20mins to sell out aswell normally gone in 5-10 at most.
