Could we see them being 89, 90 cards in the next year or two? Don't think these pair will drop below 88

Can't wait for EA to butcher Ron and Messi's legend card.

3* skills for Ron and Messi with the low/low Balo kiss of death.

It will be a blessing for FIFA when they retired, not for the game though.

I don't see Neymar and Bale being guaranteed successors, there are other players who can vie for spots.

i think this year is a test run for EA to see how the market pans out with WL and SBC's
i think we'll probably see some small changes to them next year. no way they'll let people have ronaldo, pele, messi unless its a youtuber haha

yea i'm aware, but the forum is like maybe 1-2% of all fifa players. i've faced a forumer like twice ever in any fifa since 2012, not including games where we set it up to play each other

There's no debate anyway though. Messi miles ahead of Ronaldo.

But hes never had a nif at 95 at his peak so it makes no sense.

He got a 94 rated nif the fifa after his 91 goal year, fifa 14. The same fifa the decided Pele was better than Messi in his peak.

If Messi had a CF card this year it would be 95 rated so all arguments against are invalid.

I don't think that matters to be honest. As things stand I think he would get a 95-rated
    card.

Both Messi and Ronaldo are still playing which stops us from judging their careers and achievements completely like we are able to do with legends.

About 11 million copies of the game have been sold already. I doubt more than 1,100 people actively use the forum, it's likely way less.

Thats the crux if it, is it about their careers or their top end ability?

Im not saying Pele was better, who can even make that judgement. But by making Messi in his prime 1 less than Pele, EA made that call.

Ofcourse there is the flipside to that of Ronaldo being 94 now now, when he is past his prime.... im talking myself out of it haha.

True, you really need rose coloured glasses to think that Pele is the greatest player of all time to be honest.

yea exactly so who cares if people on this forum have those 3, you'll probably never come up against all 3, you probably would barely see any of them tbh

    Who even saw him play?!

And does that negate him being touted as being the greatest player of all time because you didn't see him?

I never saw Cruyff, Best, Kaiser, Eusabio live, but that doesn't mean they weren't some of the greatest players ever.

I saw Maradonna live and was amazed, I've seen both Ronaldo and Messi live and thought they were amazing as well as R9 and Zidane, but I still put Pele above both of them as being the greatest.

Pele - Maradonna, Messi, R9,Zidane, Ronaldo, would be my order, but to be honest, it really is about who you think is the greatest.

Most people in the world I assume (never assume) would have the same top 5 players as the greatest ever and I'm sure they would have any of the above in the list with number 1 being their own personal favourite.

I think if you'd had seen Escape to Victory, you would understand that Pele is the greatest ever

As to Fifa ratings, I have never thought they meant anything really and are just a marketing ploy to make the masses think the higher the rating the better the player. Legends ratings are even worse. Only some of them are worth the 80s rating with more than half only worth high 70s.

The select few should have 90+.

This^ so many smaller players stats nearly match higher rated ones yet the overall is way diff, renato sanchez comes to mind the overall rating is just a number it is not calculated by all the individual stats (which it should)
