Alright then I've removed a fair chunk of comments here that to be honest made very little sense being in the City thread. Leave out the trolling and baiting and keep it on topic

Any word on Laporte yet? Only thing I’ve seen so far is some talk that they think it could be as bad as Sanes injury.

He's had surgery on his knee. No word on how long he will be out for, but according to the article, Laporte "damaged his cartilage and lateral meniscus".

Anyone know how bad that is? Estimated time frame?

Edit: General consensus on Bluemoon is that he won't return this year, so back after Christmas at the very least.

The article I just saw was estimating 3 months. No ACL damage.

So that's Sane and Laporte out long term. We really should try and make the most of that, as no matter what people say, those are pretty big misses. But then again, we are our own issues with Alisson and Keita.

Hardly issues really. Keita is rubbish and if Van Dijk is as good as everyone says he is having a goalkeeper out for a few weeks won’t be a big miss

Thankfully that appears to be the case, as we are 2 points ahead already :)

Keita might as well be a depth player at this point.
Or not, given his injuries. But he’s hardly a miss.

If he stayed fit, I very much have no doubt that we would be even better than we are without him. I’m not saying he’s like KDB, but City were without him for an entire season and it didn’t really feel like he was missed because they’re already so good without him, but at the same time, he still improves them. That’s how I feel about Keita. We are already so good without him, but if he could stay fit, I think we’d improve even further.

Just out of curiosity. When Pep eventually leaves, who will be the perfect replacement?

    It'll probably be Arteta

I like Arteta, will be nice to see him at the helm one day.

Will be a sad day when Aguero leaves City. The last of that core of players.

Pep has confirmed that it's 5-6 months in his PC today.

Liverpool’s title to win now. Let’s see if they bottle it again

    Bring it on.

Looks like no CL for City once again.

City were always going to win. No harm in a bit of fun beforehand.

As if you actually thought you didn't need Maguire :joy:

It's literally Laporte and a shower of **** at CB

Phil Jones could get in this team.
