Only play Fifa on weekends, load it up and there is a 2.9GB update! I have a capped internet allowance and to add to that it's not super fast. This update is not an option for me so I cant play any form of online and offline sucks. What can I do?

It totally does. I have a 1TB cap, which obviously takes a while to hit. I used to have a 250GB cap, which if you stream a lot of video and download games is pretty easy to hit. And not all that long ago I was on a shared university connection that enforced a daily cap of 2GB. That was a pain.
Sucks, but it's 2016 and this is only gonna get worse. You need to get a plan with a higher cap or have an alternative for these downloads in place.

It begs the question of why are you gaming in the first place? All games have updates and all online games have mandatory updates.
All unlimited are to expensive where I live. They say the reason they cap it is to prevent illegal streaming/downloading which is bs

Been playing since fifa 11 there has never been an update close to this size before.... Its also the only game I play. And 2.9gb is a lot of data no matter what way you look at it
