I think they will stay there. seen a lot of players doing it before with draft prizes.
Edit: some players might be more valuable in terms of coins now though then during TOTY (if you don't pack a TOTY itself of course). but that's mainly the reason I always open my packs straight away. A player today is not worth the same as time goes by which is pretty obvious.
