Is it just me but wish that FUT champions should be the other way around mon-fri say play 40 games and then qualify for respective tourney with the relevant prizes after that.

Tourney like draft is so yes get say 3-4 attempts at say gold tournament, get a gold pack if lose 1st round (just for efforts to get there) and say 2 jumbo golds etc etc and coins for winning it.

I mean no I haven't managed to qualify yet which yes is a bit annoying but then come the weekend there is then a lot less to do which for me isn't the right thing from a game point of view. The other way around would solve that.

I actually agree fully... I have played in each weekend league so far and I have played about 25 games each weekend - I am only aiming for 18 wins, which is Gold 3, after that I cba. I feel like I am absolutely maxing myself out just to play 25 games... so I will never play 40 games in a weekend. Further, after next weekend, I may not even play the weekend league because it is just too much. I committed to playing it each week in the first month to get to Gold 3/2 for the monthly reward, but after that I doubt I will keep up with it.
It is a great idea by EA, so I cannot complain too much.... but I genuinely worry about what this is doing to my own (and other peoples) health by sitting in front of a game this much. I would never play this much otherwise....

yeah don't get me wrong the idea is brilliant cant state that enough but its just the wrong way around as yes weekends are for other things, you know like premier league football and just too tight a period to play well 30+ games where as yes 5-6 say mon-Friday night is for me a much better way of doing it but there you go.

I struggle to get the games in at weekend. Should have qualifying tournaments all week for the week after while having the opportunity to play your 40 games over a week. As a family man its impossible to do in a weekend.

I think they should at least start it on a Friday evening which would be a good start. Not everyone gets the weekend off work

End of the day its about playing games so whenever what starts or ends it should be the same opportunity for everyone so you can play upto 40 games and go into respective tournament, even if its another weekend league for like say 30+ wins but then yes different tournaments for say 25-30, 20-25...0-5 wins etc. So yes even win 0 or 1 game during the week whether that is out of 40 or 1 game you say enter a bronze tournament for that weekend.

2 days isnt enough period .20 games a day is too much needs more time or less games
i did the 40 games once and i wont be doing it again anytime soon

Actually..... That's not a bad idea.

Sandbagging wouldn't do you any good because the prize brackets would be based on wins. Maybe people would bag 1 level or something, but that's not bad.

I would actually watch the top 8 from each region play each other. Then have a tournament of regional champs.

I honestly wish I was good enough to go out there and play 25, and win 18 and call it a weekend. Just not.

People need to realise that 40 games is meant to be hard to do, I wish it was less but accept those willing to give up their whole weekend to play FIFA deserve the chance at better prizes

Its for hardcore players willing to dedicate most of their weekend to playing FIFA fs. Not filthy casuals like every other thing in this game is catered for

Still cant make it, 3 semi finals and a final this week so yes anther dull weekend for fifa.

The problem you're facing my friend is that there are rewards for winning the tournament and anyone can enter

That Geordie youtuber guy won the Spanish tournament like 5 times but finished elite the weekend before. People enter it to knock out those that are still struggling

yeah its definitely annoying hence whole point of this post, have it other way around so yes the "elite" people have their own tournament at the weekends. Haven't felt as strong about anything on fifa before but yes just harsh for people not as good but really want to play !

I decided to try and qualify last week and did it first time but haven't played a game yet. Partly due to lack of time but also I feel i don't want the stress. I'll play 5 games tonight just to get the min prize but not bothered if I win.

yes that's exactly it aswell, other way around you know you can try to play as many as you can during week and yes win some or lose some or whatever it don't matter but then yes you know if you WIN a tournament at weekend you get top prizes. Why should you "HAVE TO WIN" during week just to then play more games, I mean you can play games in seasons but obviously this champions thing everyone wants to but cant at present, just winds me up even more as just cant see why it aint the other way around.

Qualified for 2 weekend leagues so far and can't say it breaks my heart when I don't qualify!

Seasons and Draft goes so much easier for obvious reasons and I actually do something else with my day other than play FIFA!!!

Yep same old story so fat this week in not winning champions tournament hence no weekend league. Got to final first time on Monday evening, boosted like 5 players attributes for it but yep lost final being 3 down at HT, so upsetting.

Last night 2 semis and yes then a 1st round, true this really gives me something to play for in fifa but at same time it makes me the worst I've felt about a game.

IVE DONE IT!!!! won 4-1 first round but yes that wasn't anything too new.
2nd round went 3 up in 30 mins and he quit so yes thought ok a bonus but overall nothing that new.
Semi yes went 1 up before ht and yes was the better team and thought you know what, if it don't happen now it never will but hey I'm used to that. Then come 60 mins it was 3-0 and he quit.
So so nervous and yes just thought be boring don't try anything silly and yes 0-0 after 90 mins but to be fair my GK Llloris (i.e. had French team as that was setup) made some crazy saves. Then yes 109 mins I scored and well probably never been so nervous for a long time, really true but yep went ptb and 5 at back and yes time wasted like hell to get through so yes bring on the weekend.

Thread can be closed lol but nah still think the other way around would still be way way better. I probably played around 20 games mon-wed night to get to weekend league but yes non final wins end up being pointless so again make them help you qualify for better tourney at weekend.

Please EA this is such the way to go, I will never back down on that.

Interesting no reply since my last one, anyway update is I managed 14/31 wins from that weekend and yes was a good experience. Anyway last night managed my 2nd qualification to weekend league, basically first tournament played got the 4 wins and that's it done.
Therefore again just to put my point across even more, what now till Friday, nothing, what fun, not.
However imagine that was only 4 of 40 games that I can play to qualify to an even better tournament come the weekend, you see EA you know I'm right and makes sense, change it for calendar year of 2017!
