It isn't a fifa POTM, it is the official PL POTM, like he said, rating has no say at all to Alex Ferguson etc

I would say Payet or Costa/Hazard to be totally honest, maybe Walcott is he gets a couple against Sunderland

Would like to see a defensive player get it. Goals and assists aren't the be all and end all. Some great performances from dier/Reid/van dijk etc

The last potm was decided two weeks ago. As far as I'm aware it's potm and not potf

on point!
only 10% of fan voting goes into POTM decisions. the other 90% are decided by a panel of experts (depending on who you ask) and captains for each team.

hence Sterling won POTM with just 17% of the fan vote.

voting and announcement of Son's September award was on October 14th; 2 weeks after the awarding month was over. if you think there's a new player of the month coming up this Friday, where's the short list for fan voting?
