EA, are you doing this for purpose, to make people play only online??? Legendary is SOOOO EASY. Come on! I enjoy pes 2017 more because of this... Top player on pes (world class) is far more difficult than legendary! This is ridiculous...
What about sliders? Did someone fix this problem changing the sliders? I really would be happy if i can make legendary harder. I love to play carrer mode, but i didn't start any save yet.
I made it a little harder. just put user sliders to 49 and the cpu to 53. Not all the options. You have to keep distance 4 points almost for every option. Just make the user weaker and the cpu stronger. And take a weaker team to play career! Sorry for my english For example: sprint speed: 49-53 accelaration: 49-53

If your playing with assistance, you simply cant complain the game is easy, because the truth is your not actually doing half the work yourself. i hate that in the journey training sessions are forced as assisted controls, because aiming is simply a joke. the finesse shot is beyond ridiculous, passing and crossing precision is beyond a joke, first touch control reliability is beyond a joke, and the ability to thump a ball top corner with swerve whilst sliding on the ground is the biggest joke. assisted controls has literally killed FIFA. until its gone the game will never be about skill. it was only ever needed for the keyboard player, but it should only be for the control pad player, simple as!
I agree with the manual, but for me the game is less enjoyable with manual But for sure is a lot harder. Thankfully after i changed the sliders i enjoy the game more and is harder now. Thankfully because i really love fifa
I have been thinking that as well, I'll give it 1 more patch and if this still hasn't been sorted I imagine I'll give up with Fifa, FUT just doesn't grip me like a good Career Mode would
I seriously cannot understand the joy with FUT. Cards, really!? As long as 90 % prefer FUT over CM, FIFA will stay the same for many many years to come. It is clearly obvious that this game is primarily designed for kids who have posters of their favourite players on the wall in their bedroom and/or create YT-videos like "OMG, I got Pogba, OMG OMG OMG!!!".

I play both, big on CM but i can see why people wouldn't wanna play on career mode, cause for them offline fifa is extremely boring. I get that.
The whole card concept is just visual. Its a very well designed game mode for a reason

I am not sure a patch will be able to fix this, as EA needs to completely reprogram the AI from the ground up.
When was the last time that happened? It's clear that a lot of the AI in Fifa 17 is from last gen, even though this is the 4th iteration on current gen.
It has never happened. I am only guessing here, but probably 80-90 % of the AI code in a new FIFA game comes from the game before. And the short developing time between games does not make it easier to completely reprogram the AI. They will probably need to take a 2 year break from releasing FIFA in order to achieve that. But that will of course never happen. As long as 12 year old kids worship FUT, we are only a very very small resistence force who notice these problems. The majority playing this game does not want the ultra fotball experience. They want goals, goals, goals, lots of ping pong and pokemon cards (aka FUT cards). I am hoping PES gets more licenses and improves their presentation because they are closer to achieving the ultimate fotball experience, when it comes to gameplay.

You always need the right balance of realism and an actual game, if you actually had to play at the same speed in real life then games would be 90 minutes too..

can I just ask that they make legendary on CM more challenging... thats really all thats needed. See when people say "play full manual" that p1sses me off. First, I do play full manual but also start an assisted CM every year which should still be a friggin challenge. My manual league is 10 minute halves on slow speed so I wont have time for that most nights.
With all that said, even on manual the game does not resemble anything close to real football because its still miles to easy to defend against the cpu on legendary. When you add in that I play 10 minute halves, im still winning most games 2 or 3 to nil.

But what does that have to do with the computer/AI? I can numb down the controls all I want for my sake but I will still keep a clean sheet every second game and have the best defense in the league by a country mile with Burnley in the premier league. It's hardly got to do with how you play, but more with how useless and dumb the computer is when attacking. Even after doing what you say, most the games you play will still be 0-0 or 1-0 if lucky.
If we compare previous fifas fifa 17 legendary is really bad. So playing on manual is not resolving the problem. The AI is bad, this is the truth, and i dont know why...

this topic is pointless, it is career mode, they can't change the game because it is easy for YOU, that is why AI adjustments exist. Change it to match your play style, no matter how much you change the actual difficulty it will always end up harder for some and easier for others and some will think it is just right. Guys after i changed the sliders i finally enjoy the game and is more hard now on legendary. I use Middlesbrough and after 25 matches i am in 10th place. I just keep four points distance from cpu. For example: accelaration: user 49 cpu: 53. Just increase the power of cpu and keep distance four points, not for all options. I also keep the pass, shot power, GK ability the same for user and cpu. Try it and tell me! Sorry for my english

Paying '50 bucks' for the game should definitely include sliders and the ability to customise the game to what you want. Many people talk about and say they want the ability to customise their gaming experience etc. well sliders, manual play and other tweaks are all part of that experience. And not sure how you couldn't find a good balance using sliders etc. but you sold the game so it doesn't matter now anyway.
We shouldn't need sliders to have a challenging game, especially when there is a very challenging game with the levels being as they should be in another mode on this very game. The levels on FUT are perfect which is the way it should be in all modes, simple as that!

See your argument doesnt hold up pal. Sliders in the past (such as fifa 15) have been a way to TWEAK the gameplay and experience. They are NOT intended to be a fix for broken difficulty levels. If you think the EA developers are changing slider settings to get the right difficulty levels behind the scenes you're wrong.
The only way to make this more difficult is to play full manual. I play full manual. It does not prevent the cpu ai from gifting you the ball with bizarre through balls, I still dominate possession and its all in all ❤️❤️❤️❤️ boring.
Ive said earlier, I usually have two CM's going. One full assisted on legendary with 6-8 minute halves for when i dont have much time to play and another with full manual with 10 minute halves. Both are no challenge this year, I honestly stopped playing after first two nights, tried again after the patch and had to put it down.
Please stop belittling peoples feedback. The hope is that EA sees this is a massive issue and addresses this on the next patch, if not, a lot of us none FUT players are screwed.

4411 with overlapping wingers, attacking style. Be sure that you are talking about CM and not FUT. My understanding is that FUT legendary is actually way more difficult than legendary on CM.
