I've been trying to work this out, and unless I've forgotten a couple of really obvious guys, then something doesn't make sense.

Here's the first 16 I thought of who could be 88 or higher in rating:
Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez, Neymar, Bale, Zlatan, Ozil, Lewandowski, Aguero, T.Silva, Boateng, Modric, S.Ramos, Higuain, Pogba, Griezmann.

That leaves four guys left and I'm struggling here. Surely Fabregas hasn't gone up to 88? Diego Costa 88?? Tevez? Surely not Jordi Alba?

I'm so confused right now, who am I missing?

Oh wait, **** me, I completely forgot keepers. Neuer and De Gea for a start. lol! :joy:

You reckon Pique is the missing man? 88 Pique? Would be some upgrade for him wouldn't it?

I've established Neuer, De Gea and Courtois will be in there so it's only one guy I'm looking for really. One guy who's going to have a slightly surprising upgrade to 88.

Thiago Silva does not deserve to be in there. Then again, David Luiz will be an 84 next year, so who knows...

Courtois! De Gea! I mean Cech was an 88. Courtois should be an 85 imo. Begovic needs a bump!

Considering Boateng is 90, he should be atleast that for sure. Ramos will be undeserved there.

I'd be quite surprised if Navas didn't get it tbh... He had just as good, if not better season than oblak. And we have already seen him.

Ozil last season at 19 assists ranks second highest in premier league history so I think his ratings fine
