I swear I've never seen a more evil corporation than EA. We all have basically waved our rights to sue them by signing TOS. It's just shocking. Just read this:

They shouldn't be able to get away with this. It's literally theft.

    Obviously we cant sue them.

Watchdog could theoretically do them for false advertising.

Contracts law is subjective, consumer law is more iron clad and frankly testing the veracity of a claim in court isn't something that should be easily dismissed.

TL; DR: Do you even law bro?

I made it 'big bold' to show where my gif was a response to.

I might not be able to respond to all your posts, gotta work on some coding for the next FIFA 17 title. We are close to a deadline yaknow.

They already did one on how a 10 year old bought a grand worth of Fifa points without his parents permission, so it could happen.

It would be interesting to see their response if Watchdog ran a story.
    Someone should fill this in.

You can actually pursue arbitration. Some people do win there. But yeah, harder.

Also some countries may have issues with this from a consumer protection standpoint.

FYI ToS are null and void if they contradict basic consumer law. No contract gives someone the right to break basic consumer law.

It's why those "all sales are final, no refunds" signs are illegal despite the implied contract.

Maybe this will be the new PPI regarding misselling (UK peeps will know what I mean).

This and Brexit in the space of a few days- the world is going mad!
