PLEASE READ
Welcome to the official Silver Community TOTS thread. I'm happy to announce that this is where the community can put forward it's suggestions on who you believe should be included in the first FIFA 16 TOTS. Please check the rules below before making suggestions and try and be civil in discussion.
Our deadline:
April 13th
Rules
• 23 Players (Starting XI, Subs, Reserves)
• Players selected must have been consistently playing well throughout the season (goalscoring, assists, clean-sheets, etc) but have NOT received an in-form in FUT 16.
• Don't worry about excluding players that could possibly appear in any league Team of the Season.
• The roster needs a good spread of leagues and positions.
• IMPORTANT: All player overall and attribute ratings will be determined by the EA SPORTS FIFA team. We're only asked to provide the list of players and their suggested positions. The FIFA team will evaluate the positions after we're done.
• If a player appears in the TOTW before the final squad is complete, he will have to be removed from our selection.
• Players from the Brazilian League are ineligible.
Please suggest players in this format: Player (Club/League) - Reason
Please try to add as much information as you can, with stats aswell if possible. Try not to keep quoting yourself as I will read all posts. Remember it's a discussion rather than a vote.
I would prefer that respectable sources are used rather than Whoscored ratings and that Squawka statistics like the example below are avoided.
LB: Aaron Cresswell - 29 games - 11 clean sheets - 1 goal - 3 assists, Cresswell is a huge part in a solid West Ham team chasing for a Champions League spot. Cresswell also managed to create the 3rd most chances in the Premier League from a defender´s position.
LB: Nathan Aké - 20 games - 6 clean sheets - 1 goals - 0 assists 18 goals conceded and 3 yellow cards
LB: Christian Fuchs - after an uninspiring season at Schalke, the Austrian full back moved to Leicester as the Foxes tried to shore up their defence. No one knew just how good a signing he'd turn out to be. In his 23 PL starts, he's helped keep 12 clean sheets and only conceded 15 goals. Although he has only contributed 3 assists going forward, he has been one of Leicester's more unnoticed gems this season, with Leicester having the best defensive record in the league since he made his first start in October.
CB: Wes Morgan - Leicester's defense has been amazing this year. One of the reasons they are at the top of the league right now. His performances alongside Huth surely warrant a gold card, but since he's a silver he should be eligible for TOTS MC Silver. So far he's got an average of 5.42 clearances per game and made 1.13 blocks/game.
CB: Craig Cathcart 10 clean sheets so far this season, only the 1 goal but is a very important member of Watfords defence
CDM: Eric Dier - 30 games - 11 clean sheets - 3 goals, 1 assists 24 goals conceded and 8 yellow cards. A key cog to Tottenham's league best defense, Dier has been a mainstay in the midfield for Spurs and is a major reason for their successes this season.
CM: Danny Drinkwater - One half of Leicester's incredible central midfield partnership, Drinkwater has gone from relative mediocracy in the last few seasons to being one of the best midfielders in the league. With 2 goals and 5 assists to his name, he has been one of the key pivots in Leicester's counter attacking play this season. His performances have also earned him his first call up to the National Team
LM/RM: Michail Antonio - 22 games - 8 goals - 3 assists
Bundesliga:
GK: Jarstein - 23 games, 12 CS, 19GC, 9th best GK kicker rating in the league (highest silver)
RB: Mitchell Weiser - 2 Goals + 5 Assists in 23 Games. Played a role in a Hertha team that has overachieved most of the season.
CDM: Julian Weigl - After moving from 1860 Munich, with whom he was almost relegated to the 3.Bundesliga last season, he has been one of the revelations of the season. He has come in to replace Kehl and has been one of Dortmund's best players. With an average kicker rating of 3,32 from his 26 appearances (missing 1 game) and the second highest pass accuracy in the league with 91.1% (20 games +), he has been instrumental in Dortmund's recovery and success this season. It comes as no surprise that he is rumoured to be high on Pep Guardiola's targets for Manchester City next season
CM/RM: Lukas Rupp - 23 games 4 goals 6 assists (every 162 min) average Kicker rating 3,10 After a bad Start into the Season under Alexander Zorniger he now stands for the uprise of Stuttgart under new coach Jürgen Kramny

ST: Leonardo Pavoletti - 18 games / 10 goals / 1 assit / average rating 6.14 / media rating 7.72
Argentine Primera Division:
CB: Javier Pinola - After an 8 year spell with 1. FC Nurnberg in Germany, Javier decided to return home to Argentina and joined Rosario Central. A left-back by trade, he’s played in the centre of defence ever since joining El Canalla. Rosario Central had been a mid-table team for a couple of seasons ever since returning to Argentina’s top flight in 2013, however the signings of Pinola and striker Marco Ruben ensured Rosario finished the 2015 season in 3rd place, securing a Copa Libertadores spot. They haven’t let off in 2016 either, and currently sit first in the “Zone A” table after 8 matches.
Back to Pinola though, he made his debut against on 13th July against Aldosivi as Rosario registered a 3-1 victory. Rosario would go on to only lose two of their remaining 15 fixtures, keeping seven clean sheets in the process. In 2016, Rosario have registered a further five clean sheets with Pinola in the centre of defence, losing once and conceding only six goals. His fantastic performances have also earned himself only his second Argentina call-up, the first coming in 2007; he’s likely to make his 2nd cap tonight, at the age of 33, in a World Cup qualifier against Bolivia.
ST: Jaime Ayovi- 14 goals and 5 assists in 30 games played
A-League:
RB: Josh Risdon - 20 games, 8 assists, 72 tackles, national call up, made captain.
CM: Corona - Corona has been the definition of consistent so far this season occupying the deep lying play maker role (like Busquets) for Brisbane Roar. Now he may only have 2 goals, 4 assists and 5 MOTMs from 24 games but he has started every game so far this season. Not only has he has brought in vast experience and exceptional passing (both long and short) but also a commanding presence on the ball. Corona has so far made 40 goal scoring chances this season.
ST - Besart Berisha - The Victory's talismanic forward has had another season of consitency infront of goal. 25 matches in, Berisha has scored 16 times and recorded one assist [1], placing him third in the A-League scoring charts behind Maclaren and Fornaroli. Melbourne Victory are currently second in the league and the longest run Berisha has gone without scoring a goal is three matches [2]. With a couple of games remaining in the season, and the play-offs to go, Berisha has already broken the Victory record of goals in a season, beating the record he set himself in 2014/2015 [3].
A. Bundesliga:
LB: Stefan Stangl - 5 goals and 2 assists in 23 games.
CB: Christoph Schößwendter 23 games 7 goals 1 assist 1961 minutes played 4 cs
The captain lead the team to the 4th place and they have probably one of their best seasons ever. He also scored some goals and was in general very good. The problem is that their defense wasnt the best so they concided some goals.
RM: Takumi Minamino - 26 games played but only 1601 minutes.
he has 9 goals and 3 assists
probably the best player after soriano and keita and played a massive role to help salzburg to probably win the league
Pro League:
GK: Ludovic Butelle - 16 conceded goals in 28 games (11 goals in 19 games for Angers, 5 in 9 games for Club Brugge), or 0.57 conceded goals/game. He was one of the key players in the good season start of newly promoted side Angers and simply continued his performances after his winter transfer. He made an immediate impact on Brugge’s defensive organization by constantly coaching his defenders and giving a confident impression towards his defenders. A comparison:
- Club Brugge before Butelle’s arrival: 25 conceded goals in 21 games (1.19 goals/game) and 8 CS (38%)
- Club Brugge after Butelle’s arrival: 5 conceded goals in 9 games (0.55 goals/game) and 6 CS (67%)

CB: Sobiech 25games 25conceded 13cs 3g1a
CDM: Hanno Behrens. Having played every game of the season so far (2. Bundesliga and DFB Pokal) he's not only been an absolute key player in our defense (the league's best CDM partnership together with Patrick Erras) but he's also great at supporting the attack by scoring 6 and assisting another 3.
CM: Rzatkowski 24games 7goals 6assists
LW: Vincenzo Griffo - He has 11 goals and 10 assists in 24 games from LW mainly. The most games he's gone without contributing is 2 and on average he contributes every 92.85 minutes.

The main man in the team, he has been performing really good. And that has also earned him a call up for the Colombia national team, to those world cup qualifiers
Eredivisie:
LB: Mitchell DijkS- 25 games played, 14 clean sheets (56%), 6 assists. 14 goals conceded. 0.56 goals per game conceded. Ajax has been unbeaten during all 25 league games when he played.
RB: Rick Karsdorp -23 games-8 assists and 6 cleansheets. this young Feyenoord rightback has shown this season that he is a crucial part of the Feyenoord defence. Because of his solid defending and supporting runs along the wing he even got called up for the Dutch national team.
RW - Milot Rashica - The 19 year old Kosovan-born Albanian winger has had an excellent first season in the Eredivisie. In 25 matches for Vitesse, Rashica has recorded 7 goals and 6 assists, earning him an upgrade on FUT from a 65 to a 72 as well as prompting interest from a whole host of Premier League teams including Spus, Everton and Southampton. The longest he has gone without contributing to a goal according to transfermarkt is 4 matches; his consistency and level of performance have also earned him a call up to Albania's men's team.
ST: Mike Havenaar - 25 played 13 goals 3 assists
ST: Christian Santos - 26 played 15 goals(5 penalty's) 2 assists
Tippeligaen:
Ekstraklasa:
LB: Patrik Mraz - 2 goals and 11 assists in 27 league games. 11 CS on top of this. One of the key players in Piast's rise to the top of the table.
CM: Kamil Vacek- CM - 5 goals and 6 assists in 27 league matches. The heart and soul of Piast this season. In FUT was one of two players who received a winter upgrade.
CAM: Mateusz Cetnarski -9 goals and 10 assists in 27 league matches. Big reason why Cracovia is in 3rd. In the same way, he had a 6.21 average match rating at the halfway point.
CAM: Konstantin Vassiljev - 4 goals and 10 assists in 27 league matches. As a Jagiellonia fan, he is the only reason Jagiellonia has a chance for a top 8 finish to play in the final round.
Liga Zon Sagres
LB: Lucas Lima - 25 games played, 3 goals, 5 assists, 11 CS. Arouca are, surprisingly, 5th in the League, and their campaign has as one of the most influential players, their left-back - Lucas Lima, which as the most contributions for goal of the team! Arouca are in good shape for a historic European place.
CB: Willy Boly 19 Games, 1 Goal, 1 Assist, 11 CS, 10 GC. The rock in Braga's strong defence! The French centre back evolved into an indisputable player in Braga's starting eleven. In Boly's 19 games they have conceded only 10 goals (0.52 conceded goals/game) and finished 10 games without one single goal against. Braga has the 3rd best defence after Benficas and Sportings and they are on the best way reaching Euro League next season again.
CB: Ruben Semedo 22 Games, 0 Goals, 0 Assists, 9 CS, 26 GC. The 21 year-old from Sporting's youth academy began this season on loan for a average Vitoria Setubal. Semedo did well for them, so they decided to cancel the loan contract in January and give him a chance to show himself in Sporting's first team. He took it in absence of the injured Paulo Oliveira and established against experienced players like Ewerton or Naldo. And it's somehow weird Sporting's only lost game in the 2nd part of the season was against Benfica, when Semedo was missing because of his 5th yellow card..
CAM: Otávio - 18 games played, 6 goals, 6 assists. Took his time to assume his spot on the team, that only happened when the new coach arrived. But he totally replied to the trust of the new manager, and became the key element on Guimarães' team.
LW: Diogo Jota - 25 games played, 9 goals and 8 assists. Surprise package of this year's Portuguese League. The youngster came out of nowhere in the middle of an average Paços' team and showed great potential as of yet, which already secured him a transfer for Atlético de Madrid (!) next season. Paços' best player by a mile and his stats clearly show it. Still on the run for an European spot on the table.
ST: Bruno Moreira: 14 goals/0 Assists in 22 games Max games with no contributions: 4 (ongoing)
ST: Rafael Martins - 20 games played, 14 goals, 1 assist. On a modest Moreirense squad, Rafael Martins (paired with Iuri Medeiros) has been an essential key to keep the team on a comfortable position on the table, doing what he is supposed to, scoring goals.
Russian Premier League:
LB: Petar Zanev – 0 goals and 4 assists in 18 league matches and 7 clean sheets
CB: Bastos - – 2 goals and 0 assists in 18 league matches and 9 clean sheets
CDM: Alexandru Gatcan - 17 apps with 1 goal and 2 assists as he has captained Rostov to the top 2, giving them a chance of Champions League football or even a league win. As a CDM his job is not to contribute going forward but to control the midfield, and with Rostov having the league's best defence, he has stood out as their leader and unsung hero.
CAM: Oleg Ivano – 1 goal and 8 assists in 20 league matches
CAM: Gerson Acevedo – 6 goals and 5 assists in 18 league matches
ALJ League:
CB: Motaz Hawsawi - Al Ahli - 18 games - no goals or assists, only 1 yellow card. 9 CS, 12 goals conceded. The most important player in Al Ahli's defense, it's amazing how many attacks he's stopping.
CAM: Jehad Al Hussain - Al Taawoun - 20 games - 4 goals and 7 assists Main man in Al Taawoun's attack, even though Paulo Efoulou's stats are also very good (9 goals, 7 assists). Widely considered to be the best attacking midfielder in the ALJ this season, creates a ton of chances and has helped Al Taawoun to have a surprisingly good chance for AFC Champions League qualification.
ST: Carlos Eduardo - Al Hilal - 16 games - 12 goals and 3 assists, longest dry spell 2 games. His FUT card is a midfielder but he's been used as striker in Al Hilal's 532 system. The numbers speak for themselves, he has basically contributed against every team he's faced so far, currently injured though and has missed the last couple of games. Especially impressed with his versitality, he's scored with headers, freekicks, left, right, pretty much a perfect season for him so far.
SPL:
RM: Niall McGinn - 7 goals and 11 assists (most in league) in 29 games
ST: Leigh Griffiths: 26 goals/4 assists in 27 games Max games with no contributions: 1
ST: Adam Rooney - If Griffiths gets an IF then the next best SPL option is Rooney of Aberdeen. He has been just as important, if not more important, to the Dons as Griffiths has to Celtic, with 19 goals and 1 assist in the league helping earn 16 points as Aberdeen have pushed Celtic all the way, the first time a team has come within 15 points of them since Rangers were liquidated in 2011/12. And with Celtic looking unsteady under Ronny Deila, things could end up very interesting if Aberdeen continue to win
Sonata K-League:

ST: Adriano - 32GP - 16 Goals - 3 assists - One of the best strikers in the league last season that scored a respectable 7 goals in 17 appearances for the worst team in the division before getting a transfer to goal shy FC Seoul. The section at the bottom of this article highlights the impact he had after joining Seoul.

In 2,444 minutes since April 2015, Wondo has hit the back of the net 16 times and assisted twice. Or played in 28 games and involved in 18 goals. Biggest drought: 4 games.
Example of what this section will be for: Please ignore the players in question and the reasoning behind them they were players that will be known with semi logical reasoning.
Danny Drinkwater:
Reason for inclusion: Outside of the obvious candidates of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante Drinkwater has been one of the unsung hero's for Leicester and has earned himself an England call up for his performances. He has two goals and five assists to his name however it is his defensive side to the game which makes him stand out.
Main Rivals: Eric Dier, Christian Fuchs, Michail Antonio and Connor Wickham
Why were they left out?
Dier: It would be hard to include two English BPL CM's in the side without upsetting the overall team balance. The case was made for Drinkwater and very few disagree with the decision of Drinkwater > Dier
Fuchs: There could easily be three or four Leicester players in the final side however that would be unfair on other leagues and players. Drinkwater was the best of the Leicester performers and other LB options such as blah and blah also have a very strong case to be in the side.
Antonio: There is no questioning Antonio's ability and what he has managed has helped West Ham to where they are in the table. However has he been as consistent as the other players in question? The second half of the season has been very strong however until that moment he was very quiet in comparison.
Wickham: Although there is no debate that Wickham deserves it over anybody else in the side the hate I would receive is not worth making the call.
Patrik Mraz (Piast Gliwice/Ekstraklasa) - LB - 2 goals and 11 assists in 27 league games. 11 CS on top of this. One of the key players in Piast's rise to the top of the table.
Patrik Mraz (Piast Gliwice/Ekstraklasa) - LB - 2 goals and 11 assists in 27 league games. 11 CS on top of this. One of the key players in Piast's rise to the top of the table.

Looks very good on paper.
This was his average game rating at the winter break point of the season. Significantly higher than anyone else at this position in the league:
Javier Pinola - just amazing for Rosario Central
Gabriel Mercado - great RB for River Plate, some heading goals and also called to the national team (its really weird a player from the Argentinian League in the national team, thats so deserved)
Marcelo Larrondo - i think he is the topscorer of the league, him and Marco Ruben are the reason of the great moment of Rosario Central, and i dont know why he didnt got a IF alredy, he scored twice a lot of times
Comments
*Upgraded stats are for visual purpose only. EA will decide the final upgrades.

In 2,444 minutes since April 2015, Wondo has hit the back of the net 16 times and assisted twice. Or played in 28 games and involved in 18 goals. Biggest drought: 4 games.
South Africa:
CB Eric Mathoho - 20GP - 3 goals - 8 CS - 15GC
The 100 >>>>>>
League rank:
2nd in goals
1st in assists
GK: Park Jun Hyuk - 32 games 26 goals conceded and 16 clean sheets
He made 93 saves
Saved 79.5% of shots
14 goals 9 assists from a CAM (2nd in the championship in assists/5th in goals)
Where are these statistics taken from? I know we had a lot of trouble with the Korean keeper last year
@Boothy was the 1 with Hyuk's exact saved shot stat (they used 2 last season as Hyuk was injured)
Edit: ofc not
Well no that is impossible
Looks very good on paper.

Many thanks
This was his average game rating at the winter break point of the season. Significantly higher than anyone else at this position in the league:
Gabriel Mercado - great RB for River Plate, some heading goals and also called to the national team (its really weird a player from the Argentinian League in the national team, thats so deserved)
Marcelo Larrondo - i think he is the topscorer of the league, him and Marco Ruben are the reason of the great moment of Rosario Central, and i dont know why he didnt got a IF alredy, he scored twice a lot of times
