If you had slid in from behind and sent the attacker flying into the air there would have been no call. I really can't figure out any sort of logic behind the programming of the refs at this point.

What the actual ❤️❤️❤️❤️? I bitched when my player's foot clipped through the ball and got called for a pen, but at least then the game played by it's own rules assuming i didn't touch the ball. But that....that right there....that's some new levels of ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Meanwhile you can get rugby tackled in the box and nothing is given, refs are such a joke this year, so inconsistent with foul calling/cards as well.

The referees only got worse after the patch. I'm a fan of the last patch, but the foul system is still just as bad or, like I said, even worse.

It's been wildly inconsistent since the patch. Sometimes the ref lets horrible tackles go, and other times you still get phantom pens like the OP's.
