Goalkeeper kit looks lovely though. So there's that.

Our goalkeeper kits are consistently decent. I miss Adidas.

Atleast it's better than "We come not to play"

Glen Johnson is let go while we pull out all the stops to keep that canine freak leashed up for another 4 years. :disappointed:

I think Brendan wants the side to be more adept and comfortable in playing 3 at the back which will limit Flanagans game time a lot tbh honest.

scraping through pretty much every round and had the easiest run possible

But isn't that how SAF won most his games scraping through league match after league match which all adds up and anyway Arsenal had an equally as easy run.
Disagree. You've played one (bottom half) PL team, bar that the two other "hard" fixtures were average Championship sides that you needed replays to overcome despite playing both at home.

You can call them average yet in both championship ties were physical ties and with thuggish intent on our players.

    lol thuggish intent lol

Stick with 3atb or go too a 4? For Newcastle I'd go with a 4.
    Phil Studge Raz
    Henderson Emre Can
    Lucas
    Moreno Lovren Kolo Manquillo
    Migs

Don't want Lovren and Kolo in a back 3.

3 at the back only really works with Skrtel, I feel. I would probably go with a lineup similar to that as well, although it's tough to drop Joseph Allen right now.

Need Coutinho in the middle for me, playing Coutinho on the left only worked when Suarez was the lone striker weirdly.
Perhaps Can at CB for Kolo,
Coutinho at LCM and Lallana or Markovic on the left wing.

Lucas started poor against Arsenal and grew into the game as it went on

Hope he doesn't play Gerrard for the rest of the season to send everyone in the dressing room a message.

I wouldn't be surprised if European elite could after the likes of studge and coutinho. Henderson will probably end up signing a new deal seeing as they're offering him the captaincy. his agent has probably said reject a few offers then they'll offer you bigger money like you want.

I wouldn't want lovren in the starting 11 let alone in a back 3. Don't you have any other centre halves available even giving a young player a start would be less of a gamble than playing lovren

If Sterling leaves then he's a brave man, far braver than Stampy G who stopped his move to Chelsea due to death threats.

Regardless, he's miles ahead of Kolo. King Kolo is a wreck beyond repair.
