Couple of quick notes to end the week.

City gave up 7 points last season, we gave up 7 on the back of it. Until we are in March with 15 point lead... anything can happen. Especially given City have to play us twice

Even if you hate Neymar, the guy got more goals/assists last year than Mane in almost half the number of games.

Honestly think its just such a waste for him.

Neymar is great but since he plays in a farmers league (literally), I just dont rate his performances. The only team that was problematic for them was Monaco when they had all their best players and were playing amazing football, Lyon under Genesio was good and thats it. Monaco fell apart, Genesio left Lyon and now they are more or less mediocre. Everything else are below average teams that dont represent a challenge to PSG.

As I said, he has done it on every stage he has been asked to. Barca, Santos, PSG, Brazil.

His talent is above the excuse of PSG being a farmers league. He has 102 goals/assists in 100 games for Brazil, it's ridiculous.

PSG have won 3 games 1-0 this season, of which he was the match winner in each.

He won't ever he the best player because of where he plays unless he wins a CL, but he is still a top top player.

Edited my comment before. Mentioned in it that Mane has done the same. He delivered in Salzburg, Soton, Pool. Premier League, Champions league.. Has contributed 32 times in 67 appearances for Senegal. Neymar is a top tier player, that was/is clear but atm Mane is god tier.

Not sure how you can compare Mane at Southampton vs Neymar at Barca.

    Neymar, 118 G/A in 123 games.
    Mane, 39 G/A in 75 games.

I'm not sure how you can compare their CL returns either.

Neymar has 55 goals/assists in 53 games in the CL.
    Mane has 19 in 26.

Mane's is obviously still a very respectful number, but Neymar is in a different league.

Same story with national team, different leagues.

    Neymar, 102 G/A in 100 games.
    Mane, 32 G/A in 67.

This is no slight on Mane, he has fantastic stats in general and is a great player. But, how you can't rate Neymars performances and say Mane is god tier compared to him is beyond me.

Atm he is. Like Im saying all the time(currently, at the moment, right now) much better than Neymar.

How can you think TAA isn’t a defensive liability?

8 wins out of 8, plus a super cup win with a defensive liability playing for us :D it’s a total myth.

Same can’t be said for that Rodri geezer. What a liability he is, defensively, lmao. The way he got done for Wolves’ second goal was championship level stuff.

Was it Otamendi who screwed up the 1st goal when he got dribbled past like he is an amateur?

Yep. Their current defence is midtable quality at best. If TAA is a defensive liability, then their back line is a defensive nuclear bomb.

His response usually arrives straight away, the three-hour delay must mean that he can’t think of one.

Always liked Muller, but he’s past it now. Pass for me.

Id take him in a heartbeat. One of the most intelligent forwards ever. Can play each and every position in attack, can play as an attacking mid, is a great finisher, knows where the ball will be before the pass is even made into the box.
He is almost the same as Kuyt. Cant dribble that well but can find space to either score or pull defenders away always. Now that he is a bit "older" (30) he started playing more on the wing and in midfield and has taken the role of a creator but can still score for fun when opportunities present. Would I take him over Havertz? No, but would be very happy if he somehow ends up in Liverpool. And also since he is so damn intelligent and creative he could replace Firmino in some games no problem at all. But doubt Bayern will ever sell Muller. He is Bavarian, is their legend, lives and breathes Bayern...

Still don’t see how Havertz would fit into your system. He won’t cover for Robbo or TAA at full-back as they bomb forward, and he won’t be content being benched by Bobby.

At least when you talk about Mbappé, I can see how he’d fit.

Every team should have room for Havertz, he is one of the best talents in the world.

He's played CM in a 443 so many times, why wouldn't he fit in?

Because your CMs have to cover for your full-backs and end up being restricted offensively.

I’m fairly sure Klopp could get the best out of just about anyone. If he wants Havertz he will have a plan
