To be honest the team looks fine... It must be the formation or the way you're playing...

That team is plenty good enough! Maybe a freshen up is needed? I changed formation from 41212-2 to 433-4 since to new patch and it has worked a dream!

If you want to keep the current shape, Id look at Gustavo CDM and Vidal CM to give you more steal and energy in midfield.

I would get Ricardo Rodriguez and pisczek in that team.

Schmelzer is good though..gotze and thiago..one of them can be replaced by lahm or luiz gustavo they will provide better defensive cover.

I would also put Vidal cm and get Luis Gustavo, especially with your CB w/r.
Maybe Reus if you can afford him.
