For those of you who are veterans of the CM section of the forum, you almost definitely remember the many separate FIFA Club Championship threads written by @Hellinas0 over the years. (If that didn't seem like enough links, don't worry. He did four other ones that have apparently been erased from the old forum's archives.)

Since this is the first year in quite a long time, I believe since 2008 or 2009, that Hellinas is not an active part of this community, I have decided that, since I can't access my FM saves right now, I will do his speciality thread in place of him.

For those of you not familiar with this who are also too lazy to click on any of the links I provided you, this is a competition in which I decide who the ultimate best club in the world is by pitting them against each other in randomly assembled single-leg ties played by the CPU. All 604 clubs in the game will take part in this competition, and I will hopefully be able to get through all 603 games throughout 10 rounds before I die. Or at least before the forum switches over to 2017.

Welcome to the FIFA Club Championship 2016.

So, you're probably wondering how I'm going to cut down 604 clubs to an amount that can be handled via standard elimination methods. Or not. I can't force you to care; I'm not your mother.

I will be starting with a play-in round, in which my random matchup generator will, based off of atmospheric noise or some ❤️❤️❤️❤️, randomly select which clubs will participate in the 92 play-in fixtures. The winner of each play-in will be one of the 512 participants in the first round.

Great idea to bring this back. Shame Hellinas isn't around for it though. Good luck with getting through all the games

Helinas was awesome - always thought this was a great idea... Not sure he ever actually finished one though?

He only ever actually finished it last year. Everton beat Trabzonspor in the final.

Yeah, some of them won't load on my phone either right now. Not sure why. I'm getting my computer back later today, so I'll probably just re-upload them all then.

Oh good, I thought maybe it was just me. Glad to hear your getting your computer back already man. Hope it was nothing serious.

Yeah, I see about half of them. Just not the first Beşiktaş one, either Luzern one, or the second DC United one. Maybe Xbox's upload links continuously change?

The screenshots have been glitchy for this, so I am just going to record the scores the old -fashioned way from now on. The old scores have been added/fixed.

I'm estimating until late May or early June if everything goes to schedule. :D

Yeah, I'm happy with the scoreboard. It doesn't look too bad and it's very simple to do, which is good when I have to do it hundreds of times.
