The biggest problem with online play is not gameplay related. Its the fifa community in general.
Whether you trade or not, a successful way to accumulate coins is to play seasons. What this results in is a large proportion of the community using win at all costs exploits and a total disrespect/disregard for their opponent.
The fact is, EA could do a lot to erradicate this. For a start, remove the inflamatory shush, calm down etc celebrations.
Secondly, a 'no replays' option would be a nice touch agreed before going into games.
Also, a less severe hit on your dnf modifier should your opponent quit, maybe that way more etiquette would be observed.

For the replays, they should make it so the replay requires only 1 player to skip. If both players want to watch it, then it will play, otherwise if one player wants to skip it, the game will skip it.
Yeah you can watch the replays after the game for as long as you want so there's no need for them during the game.

Let's be honest, we all enjoy a troll/gloat, just not necessarily ALL the time and in as poor taste as possible.

Main thing I look at is the way FIFA almost encourages it with certain celebrations and the inability to skip your opponents replays. It's beyond me why these things are in the game. You can't even skip/neutralise your own players default gloat anymore. Tevez makes me cringe every time I score and he cups his ears.
Or dances like a drunk uncle.
I had a game very recently in which my opponent scored a good free kick vs me with Ibra as I didnt put a player on the line as it was a good fair match up to that point against a good player, two minutes later I got a free kick in a similar position only for this guy to block it on the line........ he went on to beat me in gold cup final
EA has to give up "Play Beautiful" as it was stated as misleading.
Yeah that's easily countered, I usually wait for them to put somebody there.
And replays are fine this year, appropriately short. I'd still prefer to skip, but won't complain if they don't.
At least this year the attackers do try to take advantage, but it's nowhere near the benefit it would be irl. First thing you would do is stand two tall players right in front of the GK so he can't even see the ball.

this game really is toxic garbage, from the broken physics/collision engine to the cut screens (where the ref slowly paces over to you to give you a stupid yellow)
i have no hope for fifa 17 either, tbh
As far as the replays go, they are shorter than they have ever been
