LikingFlame's Interactive Premier League
With the end of my
second version of the Interactive Create a Player Career, I have decided to replace it with something more like
what I did last year. How it works is pretty simple; you choose a club in the Barclays Premier League and manage them through a season (and hopefully multiple seasons) of football, against clubs controlled by both other players and the CPU.
It's a lot like playing FM online. I'm guessing. I've never actually done that.
Like with the CAP Career, I will be doing this on FM15, so that I can have both it and my main CM running on the same computer at the same time, but don't worry, that doesn't mean you don't get to play with up-to-date squads. I have come across an update as of after the transfer window created by a wonderful Steam user with the account name jantelov1. He updated everything that happened during the transfer window and kept the ratings of individual players updated up to the date of 4 September, and that update is what I'm using.
Because I don't want this to take too long, I will leave training to your respective assistants.
Two weeks worth of matches will be simulated each day, unlike the one week per day policy I used last year.
All managers will start at the highest level of ability going into this, which is with international experience and a continental pro coaching license.
This is the template to ask for a club:
Manager
Manager Name:
Manager Nationality:
Manager Languages:
Manager Attributes
Style Focus*: (1-7 on the scale)
Rank the following from most to least important. (If importance is a tie between a couple (or more) of them, please designate them as so): Attacking, Defending, Fitness, Goalkeepers, Tactical, Technical, Mental, Working With Youngsters.
Rank these like above: Adaptability, Determination, Player Knowledge, Youngster Knowledge, Level of Discipline, Man Management, Motivating.
Club
Club: (This is pretty self-explanatory)
Tactic: (Formation, Mentality, and Shape; up to three)
Board Requests: (If any)
Transfer Listings: (Who do you want to immediately sell or loan out)
*Style Focus allows you to change the amount of focus that the manager puts on tactical vs. tracksuit attributes. In our case, this will be given to me on a numerical scale.
I am specifically inviting those of you who were involved in the CAPCM,
@Chris ,
@R2GFifa ,
@tomgreat1990 ,
@Wyojasond ,
@ale85bg ,
@braad ,
@LaMertesackerRun ,
@CaTriEm , and
@Bastianpaul to join this, but feel welcome to join if you haven't been invited. All are welcome.
And lastly, good luck with your new club. This will start officially on Monday, which is earlier than I have done with my last two, but, also contrary to the player careers, you can sign up for this at any time.

Yeah, that formation works. The only weird thing about formations is that it doesn't naturally do centre forwards.
The options for mentality are contain, defensive, counter, standard, control, attacking, and overload, and the options for shape are highly structured, structured, flexible, fluid, and very fluid.
Do you want to reserve a team right now so you don't have to settle for a club you don't really want when you sign up?
Alright, I'll give you Liverpool, but change it to Southampton if that's who Braad wants.
Alright, cheers.
I'll be following this with interest, though. Nice idea @IAmLikingFlame and good luck to everyone else involved as a manager!
Alright, cheers.
You sure? I'm sure you've been a Liverpool fan longer than me. I'm fine with taking Southampton.
It's cool, man. But thank you
Ok so.. I think this is right?

Also, how do transfers in work?
Transfers in this work in two separate ways. If you want to sign someone from someone else involved in this, you PM them about and then both of you PM me once you've reached a deal. If you want to sign someone from a CPU club, you PM me how much you want to offer the club for the player, and I will input it into the game, and PM you back with their response. With both ways, you would need to PM me for the player negotiations.
Hey mate, I just noticed this. Did you mean 5-2-2-1 or 4-2-2-2?
Build New Stadium, Expand Stadium, Improve Training Facilities, Improve Youth Facilities, Increase Transfer Budget, Increase Wage Budget, Increase/Decrease Youth Coaching Budget, Increase/Decrease Youth Recruitment, Find New Affiliate, Have a Trial Day, Increase Staff Wages, Increase Number of Staff.
Can I also request an increase in transfer budget? Haha.
Yeah, sure.
