Bundesliga should be between Geis, Xhaka and Firmino thinking about it. Ligue 1 would be Gonalons and Lucas for me.

    Phil Jones:
Many people laugh at him because of his funny gormless face but look beyond and you will see a superb CB who has been part of the leagues third best defence, despite having some shaky partners, and a CB with stats comparable to the worlds best, let alone the leagues best. An excellent player who must surely be a strong contender for the team

This just shows how pointless stats are. Phil Jones being better than Godin just shows how flawed they are.
Or maybe it shows how well Jones has played

Guys if you want your recommendations to be taken on board, you have to do more than just post names. Give as much info as possible so it's easier to see who is deserving and who isn't. Will help the discussion to flow better

Is Phil Jones a late April fools joke? Henderson should be in. Meier for sure.

Seen lots of people laughing at Jones but no full descriptions on why other people should be in ahead of him

Krychowiak from Sevilla has been a rock so far this season. He doesn't score or assist but he is an immense CDM.

Serie A: Felipe Anderson (deserved 2-3 IFs, played outstanding this season), Di Natale (old, but still very consistent and 16 scorer points are not that bad)
Rest of the world: Jackson Martinez (17 goals...)
Ligue 1: Beauvue (11 goals and 3 assists as a winger)
Bundesliga: Alexander Meier (top goalscorer), (Lewandowski (16 scorer points)), Bellarabi (11 goals and 2 assists as a RM)
BPL: Fabregas (assists...), Hazard (17 scorer points), (Sterling (13 scorer points))

Just the first names that came into my mind :)

    Moussa Sissoko.

    CAM, Newcastle United.

Has been the driving force behind all of Newcastle's form, when theyve had any.
Absolute powerhouse in the centre of the park, is really the fulcrum of the team.
Overlooked for an IF due to a lack of goals, however his form has not been unnoticed by managers, with recent callups to the France first team as well as links to PSG and Arsenal, amongst others.

    - Jackson Martinez (FC Porto / Primeira Liga ) - He is the Primeira Liga best scorer with 17 Goals and with some games behind because he got an injury! In Primeira Liga he has a ratio of 0.71 games/goal!
Plus 5 goals in Champions League with a ratio of 0.83 game/goal

Amazing player and will leave Primeira Liga this year as he admitted! Hope he chooses a good club where he will have oportunnities like a BPL club or Série A

Ander Herrera - hasn't got many opportunities throughout the season due to injury and then unknown reasons, but has been consistent all the time when he's played. Has played an integral role in United's seemingly successful top 4 challenge and it's no coincidence that United's resurgence has coincided with Herrera's readmission into the side and excellent form, when they looked seemingly down and out. Has 3 goals and 4 assists in the league in addition to 2 goals and 1 assist in the FA Cup.

Phil Jones - been an integral part of the country's 3rd best defense and arguably one of the best CB's in the league inspite of a ridiculous belief he's a nutcase. Has held the defense through despite injuries to everyone in the defense and despite the defense having a makeshift defense almost all through the season, United have only conceded less goals than Chelsea and Southampton and Jones has had a huge role to play in that. Deserves a spot over the likes of Koscielny who have been suggested.

Will dish out stats comparing them to the league's best if needed.

Kompany. Has come back strong from a slight dip in form to make a tremendous partnership with Martin Demichelis( should be considered too). Taken his side to 2nd in the league

Oh boy a re-release Hazard will be so fun while a deserving candidate loses out on a spot.

A bit of common sense wouldn't go amiss, new forum should mean change.

He's only played 16 games, less than half a season. Unless you mean consistently injured or left out of the starting lineup

  • Ander Herrera has been fantastic all season
  • Stewart Downing- 5 goals and 8 assists from midfield
