no not too soon. This season has been a shambles, 1 win 10 games says it all.

Hoping Moyes or even rodgers come in to replace, may be a bit far fetched though

I think Rodgers will stay out of work and be a pundit etc until next summer with the view of taking over the England job when we get knocked out in the group stages. Moyes would be a good shout, and his current side may well be glad of getting rid of him without having to fire him ;D

They've been a joke over the past couple of years. I reckon they've got their eye on Pearson unless they go foreign

You can't just avoid relegation, then sell your best players and expect to do well

Villa are the joke. Sherwood had a good win % at Spurs, and had a decent win % last season at Villa. This season a lot has changed, he hasn't been the best but far from a joke.

It's hard to win games at a terrible club.

how are we a terrible club? We have players with bags of potential and players who are quality now.

Grealish, Gil, Richards, Amavi and Sinclair are all quality but arent being utilized

If you wamt players to be used better surely rodgers isn't the manager for Villa.

I'd be very surprised if it was Rodgers tbf, ive got a fear that we'll be looking at someone like Redknapp to take charge, he ticks all the Randy Lerner boxes, unattached, looking for work, would probably take a 1 year deal, only issue would be the lack of cash available in January

Would he of been doing so badly had he not been made to sell Benteke and Delph?

Possibly not, but unless your a manager at a top top club(and sometimes even then) sometimes you lose players, unlike Lambert he was actually given funds to strengthen, and although he probably wasnt given enough time to bed the new guys in properly something had to be done, watch his post match interviews for the last few games, he looked like a man whod already lost belief in himself and his team so for that reason alone it probably was the right thing to do

Whichever donut decided to put an £8million clause in Delph's contract is the one who deserves the sack.

Selling 3 players from last years first 11 and replacing it with 5/6 players for the first 11 and then sacking the manager after 10 games is barmy.

I agree, they really look like lost kids in a supermarket when there time is up.

Just think calling the man a joke was a bit harsh.
